We just love this pub and don't really want to tell anyone about it so that we can always ensure we get a room here. This little pub is cosy and so welcoming. The lovely Shannon assisted us when we first arrived, took us up to our room and served us when we went to the bar for a drink....

We were having a family get together down the road in Great Tew so the Falkland Arms seemed a perfect rendezvous. It's well signposted from various directions so easy to find with a reasonable size car park opposite. It's an old pub with plenty of character and beams etc decorated with scores of hanging jugs and beer mugs. Plenty to...

Beautiful country hotel/pub in stunning village hamlet in Oxfordshire. If you want old world charm with good beer and food then look no further. Staff and management very friendly and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. Rooms have character and are very clean and nicely finished. All are situated above pub/restaurant so some...

Stayed here for an impromptu night away and we were not disappointed! Lovely drive down from Bristol on a busy friday afternoon to the peace and quiet of the cotswolds. My partner and i stayed for just one night but we could not fault the service we received. The breakfast was of a good quality, full english with a nice...

Booked last minute and we were delighted to get two nights in the cottage. Essentially self catering but with breakfast included! Will have to try our luck and book last minute again. Didn't see much of the management apart from a grunt of acknowledgement when introduced by the very helpful blonde lady who had served us our evening meal and...

I love this place. I have family ties to the village & have known it for well over 50 yrs. The pub, Falkland arms is perfect & the church is full of history. The village has historical ties to the Falkland Islands because of one of the families who once owned the estate. There used to be a set of...

Stopped here for a quick drink on the way back to Bourton on the Water after following a Treasure Days treasure hunt that ended here and it was lovely. Inside was very quirky and thankfully the sun was shining so we could sit out the front and enjoy the warmth after being drowned by the rain in the morning. Staff...

Stunning, cosy pub. The array of jugs and tankards befitting a pub of serious social standing:) Only had time for drinks this time, but after all, what is a pub for? Great atmosphere, decent selection of ales. Friendly. Will be back soon as we visit the area again.
