Was really looking forward to this evening and we were not disappointed...
Amazing from the moment we arrived - loved the dancing girls, always nice to be met with smile. Loved the way people made an effort from the beautiful dresses to the very smart...More
I was really looking forward to a black tie Christmas party at Colwick hall but I’m afraid it was a big disappointment. It was absolute chaos is there.
The food was very slow to come out. The waiters had no idea who had ordered what...More
Went for our works Christmas party on Saturday 15th December 2018. Not impressed the venue looks good but the quality of food totally shocking. Starters were prawn cocktails so small couldn't have fed a bird with it, the main course had mushroom risotto it just...More
Amazing night of great food, fantastic service and good fun. From the moment we arrived we were looked after by team at the Colwick Hall Hotel. Even though they were extremely busy they made sure our whole experience is 5 star. Thank you all!
Held in a marquee at the back of the venue, the bar was not big enough or staffed enough for the amount of people that were attending the function (14/12/2018) causing lengthy waits for drinks
Initially the main room looked absolutely stunning, however this soon...More
Hello again. I stayed in the Mozart room if that is any help to you. It is a superior room decorated in blue with cream furniture. Not sure of the room number. Would be an ideal room for a romantic break.

Hi. The standard afternoon tea was a sheer delight but I think the more expensive one has a different more expensive menu which includes roast beef and smoked salmon etc. and of course the Champagne. I would imagine the cakes will be better too. There is nothing wrong with the standard menu but the luxury one looked even better. I was driving so could not drink. My ideal would have been the luxury one without the champagne but that was not an option as I was not prepared to pay the extra cost. Either would make a lovely present for an adventurous eater and someone who likes spices. A few of the cakes contained spice. I would imagine both menus are somewhere on the Colwick Hall Hotel website. Reception have a copy of the menu which I would have liked to have seen before my meal not the following morning as I was not sure what I was eating when it came to the speciality chutney. Hope this helps.
