Our group had booked 6 rooms at the Commodore Hotel, but upon arrival, we were told only 4 rooms were available, as two of our group had not confirmed by credit card, despite neither having received any email correspondence saying that this was necessary. We were then told, only 2 people could have rooms at the location and that two...

After reading reviews I was a bit worried about this hotel but it was the only one that I found with rooms of 5 people so I booked it anyway. We arrived around 5:45pm and were greeted by a friendly lady and given the keys to our two rooms. We had room number 9 and 12. Both rooms were clean...

Booked for me and my family, called in the morning to confirm my arrival and told the manager that I would be there just after 8pm as I was travelling from the south. Got there at 8:20 pm and the manager gave my room away. No refund was offered, so I was left with my wife and three children without...

We have stayed one night, this hotel should not advertise as family hotel it is disgrace. Smelly, dump is everywhere. Bathroom disgrace all you wanted to do is brush your teeth and pee ( if you have to) My 3 year old was sleeping on a bunk bed but the ladder was not secure so all night I was worried...

By the time we checked into the hotel 6pm a few Saturdays ago, there was no room left and we was being sent to another hotel somewhere on Gregory boulevard - no name was mentioned but we would guess another dive There was no phone call to keep us updated of this before hand but they did get in touch...

Booked through booking.com, which allows the facility to falsely advertise and use photos that must be 30 years old. Booked 9 nights, after emailing back and forth and telling them where we needed to be for a wedding (Radcliff on Trent). They said it was only 10 minutes, turned out to be 40. Had local friends run by and have...

Was very apprehensive because it has had a few very bad reviews recently. We arrived and were offered a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom apartment (5 of us). That was a pleasant surprise . Very basic though but ok for a short stay. Breakfast was ok. All I all not as bad see were expecting.

This is by far the most unprofessional hotel I have ever come across, if you can call it an hotel. Due to children being car sick and roadworks on our journey up we were going to be late for our check in. We rang to advise them of this. On the first call it wouldn't be a problem, yet when...
