My friend booked the accommodation - I would have overlooked this place because I haven't had any previous experience with hostels. From the time we arrived the the staff were very helpful - they genuinely want to make sure that their guests make the most of their time in Nottingham. The rooms were clean, as were the shared facilities. The... More

Me and my partner had an event planned on a Saturday night so we decided to make a weekend of it. Othe rplaces were way out of our budget or unavailable. Luckily we were able to get the last double room at the Hostel. It was a little tricky to find when driving but I think that was just because... More

I was attending an event in Nottingham overnight so spent very little time here. But staff were friendly, and I parked behind the building. It is clean and quiet and has hot water in the bathrooms [towels available to hire]. I appreciated being able to heat up my bargain Waitrose food in the kitchen when I came back and have a hot... More

I wasn't expecting luxury but was pleasantly surprised at how convenient it was. Stayed only one night but had a good comfortable bed to sleep in, hot shower in the morning and a nice kitchen area to make some tea and heat something to eat. Visiting Notts again in the same circumstances and I would stay here again.

I stayed with a group of friends in one of the dorms separate from the main building. The room was clean, comfortable and very well located. The beds were a little on the small side, but that wouldn't be a problem for anyone below 6 ft. Our host was very friendly.

I've just returned home after spending the night in the Igloo hostel. It was fantastic. Upon arrival we managed to park the car in one of the free spaces at the back of the building (accessed via the side road just past the front of the building) we were welcomed by a lovely lady, very friendly & welcoming. She was... More

Friendly staff, clean, value for money and quirky - just what you want from a hostel. I've just spent two nights at Igloo as I had appointments in Nottingham and as I was on my own didn't want to break the bank. I've stayed in hostels in Asia, Oz and NZ and at YHA in the UK and so know... More

I've went to the hostel for 4 days. Now i'm not someone who like hostels but I absolutely loved this place. The staff were extremely friendly and the place was very clean. Showers and toilets were always clean. The rooms were very cozy and beds were comfortable. Anytime you need anything you'll find the staff there ready to help you... More
