This is just about one of the best cottages we have ever stayed in - the perfect combination of a historic house and contemporary comforts. Stunning views, fantastic hosts who managed to be very attentive but never intrusive, beautiful attention to detail in the interior design and every convenience you can think of. Definitely going back!

Jim's Barn has been converted to a very high standard and was very clean and comfortable. The bedrooms were lovely and the kitchen had everything we needed to to cook an evening meal. There is underfloor heating and as the weather wasn't great it was lovely to come back to a warm and welcoming cottage. We came to stay at...

We stayed in Nell's Cottage for the weekend as we were attending a wedding locally. I cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough. The bed was ridiculously comfortable and the room was clean fresh and extremely cosy. The furnishings were luxurious and the attention to detail was heart warming. The views were breath taking and the booking procedure and communication was...

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us such a fabulous review. As a relatively new business, it is much appreciated. Glad you were comfortable and you liked the furnishings, we've tried to keep Nell's traditional but with a modern feel. We agree, the views are stunning, particularly from the main bedroom windows. Hopefully, we will see...

I stayed in the delightful Jenny's Barn attached to the farmhouse. It was perfect. Well fitted out, especially the bedroom. Lovely little touches like fresh eggs included. The animals on the farm were another highlight, mainly the hens and dogs! Fantastic views. Cosy. Highly recommended. Totally perfect for a couple.

Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us a review. So glad you enjoyed your stay in Jenny's Cottage, as you say, it is ideal for couples to get away from it all. Glad you liked the animals, hope the cock a doodle doo didn't wake you up!

We stayed in Jim's Barn for a week in August with my parents. The owners are extremely friendly and provided us with a welcome pack of fresh milk, eggs (which you can also purchase at the farm) and biscuits. Jim's Barn is very clean and tidy with absolutely stunning views of the Diggle countryside. The farm itself has an array...

Thank you very much for your review, it is much appreciated. You were very lucky with the weather and saw the farm in all its magnificent glory! Hopefully, we will see you again in the future. We had a large family group of 9 people so booked Jim's Barn, Jenny's Cottage and Nell's Cottage for a week. The properties were spotless and well-appointed with a gift of 6 fresh farm eggs waiting for us on arrival. (The eggs were delicious). We cooked meals on some days and tried some of the numerous eateries in Diggle and...

An utter delight from start to finish. We genuinely didn't want to leave. Arrived at the lovely Jenny's Cottage, (two-storey home) to find fresh milk in the fridge, eggs from the hens and even a box of biscuits that lasted the whole stay. The accommodation was lovely and cosy with TV / DVD, and also a selection of games, books...

I won't repeat what the other reviews have said, but I thought the hospitality was mediocre. The cottages are fine, look nicer in pictures than reality. Beds could use updating, ok but not good or great. There are a number of things around notes that say you get one basket of firewood included, each additional you have to pay for....

We were surprised to read this review so long after your short stay with us which was booked on your behalf by a family member. Firstly, we are not and never have been a bed and breakfast – the cottages are advertised as ‘self-catering’ which means exactly that, you cater for yourself! There is sugar, teabags, coffee, salt & pepper...
