We visited Harthill Hall as a Hen Party, group of 16 ladies. We stayed in the Barn and the Manners. The accomodation was perfect for our needs, I stayed in room 2, 2 single beds, very comfortable, bedding spotless. The kitchen was well equiped had everything we needed. We catered for ourselves but ordered a takeaway on Saturday night, the...

We had a most relaxing family weekend staying in Cokaynes. This cottages are in glorious Derbyshire countryside where there is plenty of opportunity to relax, walk cycle from the cottage environment. The young children in our group were happy playing in the cottage, the pool and in the garden area. Our hot tub was really hot and we all enjoyed this...

We booked The Chapel at Harthill hall for a girls weekend in March. We were told a few days beforehand that there was a problem with the boiler and the only alternative was to split our party into two 4 beds, Manners and Hartle. We were very disappointed not long after our arrival to find that they had actually been...

The accommodation was spotless and very comfortable. We had a horrendous journey getting there due to terrible weather conditions. We had no food or transport due to cars being stranded in snow miles away, but the staff at Harthill Hall provided for our every need and ensured we were looked after in every way possible. I can only describe their...

Had a lovely relaxing weekend staying in Manners. All areas spotlessly clean including the pool and changing room. Very comfortable with everything you could need including all types of cutlery, glassware etc. Having tea towels and washing up extras including cloths, dishwasher tablets was a great help. We enjoyed having private use of the pool for an hour each day....

Returned from a lovely girly weekend. Lots of fun in the hot tub. Cottage well equipped and comfortable. The provided towels, towelling robes and slippers were an added bonus. Cottage spotless lay clean and unique style. Staff very warm, friendly and helpful, nothing seemed too much trouble for them. Beautiful setting and views. Thank you

I have very mixed feelings having just come back from our weekend at Harthill Hall. We stayed in the Manor House - the biggest and supposedly the nicest property. The positives related to the stay had nothing to do with the customer service - they included nice company, lovely views, and fantastic weather. The property itself was interesting, but not...

I have really resisted writing this review as our (non) weeks summer holiday was back in August but it's sitting very uncomfortably on my conscience. Just terrible! Cokaynes was damp and dark and although the main/dining room was big, it that felt very claustraphobic and much more like a communal holiday games room than somewhere we could have eaten our...

Stayed in the Priesthall cottage Positives: Location (beautiful), loads of character, private hot tub, reasonably spacious, well equipt, cosy Negatives: Terrible beds (especially the 2 singles, would hate to be an adult and use them), ridiculous rules (no spa use after 9pm, which is enforced), being told to empty own rubbish (in principle fine, but not in this price range)...
