I organised for a group of friends to spend Easter weekend in The Manor Fri-Mon. What an exceptional venue! We all had a great weekend, great views and The Manor with all its quirks was fantastic. There were 12 adults and 2 dogs. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could possibly want. When the toaster died it was...

Stayed in Cockaynes at Harthill Hall. Absolutely brilliant, great views. Facilities so good, the pool sauna and hot tubs are a real bonus. Also good location for walking. There were 9 of us staying and there was plenty of space. We loved it. Thankyou for a great holiday.

Harthill Hall is magnificent, pictures were just as described, this manor house is old 16th century in fact so of course it will show that but the interior did fantastic justice to the place. All rooms were cosy and furnished with taste. I travelled with a large group and pleaseing everyone was tricky but Harthill Hall did that! which meant...

A dream cottage perfect for a romantic break. Henrys Haunt was full of history and had an amazing four poster bed, one of the best beds I have slept in for years and the private hot tub really topped it off. Quaint and cosy and highly reccommended!

The location was fantastic for walking and the kids were able to play outside safely. We had 8 people stay, there was plenty of room for all of us...

Upon arrival we were treated with flowers, champagne and cake for my birthday which was a lovely surprise however that was probably the highlight of our stay. The room is very cold not helped by the slate floor throughout some of which...

We stayed for a weekend with friends in the cottage named: Cockaynes. As a friendship group we have stayed in many cottages in the Peaks and I have to say (we were all in agreement) that for the price, this one was very disappointing. For the money we paid, we would have expected a far better standard of accommodation. Regrettably,...

Stayed in a lot of cottages over last few years. Maybe I have been spoiled by the excellent facilities at previous cottages, as this was not even on the same level. Paid over £2k for a Xmas stay for 7 and our dogs at deferrers cottage. From the start the experience could have been better. Apparently we had 4 parking...
