With our family home, visiting all the way from Canada, we were organising a huge family get together. First choice, Old Hall! We sent through a pre order off the Xmas menu & requested that the Steak & Ale puddings were an option as they are our absolute favourites & this wasn't a problem. There were 23 of us &...

Well known locally for its beer & food I've been meaning to come here for ages. Beer selection was excellent, as I'm told was the quality. Menu was interesting though going just after Xmas a few things weren't available. Ti sis a popular venue so if you want to eat I'd strongly advise booking. The food was good quality but...

Thank you for the review. Delighted you enjoyed your visit. As mentioned you visited on the menu change over, directly after xmas. Our menu's change very regular, and with this change coming straight after our busiest period we had run out of a couple of dishes as the suppliers of we used had been shut for the bank holidays. We...

The title says it all really. The room we stayed in was massive with a balcony and it's own nespresso machine. Towels, shampoo and shower gel were all included. The Paper Mill part where we stayed has an amazing bar with loads of Thornridge beers, Belgian beers and then your normal lagers/Guinness as well. There are also screens in there...

We booked an early meal on Xmas evening. You could not fault the service and food which was very delicious. Even though they were very busy and needed to turn our table we were not hurried. We wish it was our local in Edale!

Having stumbled across the Old Hall beer festival in September, we were curious to find out more so persuaded a group of friends to come with us for a weekend. What a well run operation - charming and helpful staff, excellent food, comfortable accommodation, and a better breakfast than you'd get in a 5* hotel. The balance between restaurant standard...

We spent three nights there as base for walking. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The food was excellent with extensive wine and beer list. All the staff very friendly. Also visited Bakewell for a taste of the traditional pudding and recommend a visit to Castleton as well

Brought my partner here as a surprise for her birthday. Had a room with a balcony overlooking the gardens which was really nice. Food great and very reasonable - pub style but high quality. You must pre-order the steak pudding - awesome. Good wine selection too. Lots of real ale drink choices - not my cup of tea but have...

The room had everything we needed and was nice and warm.We had dinner at the restaurant that night and the staff couldn't be nicer. They even managed to surprise him with a birthday desert without us telling them it was his birthday. The inn is in...

The Old Hall Inn is full of old world charm and is true to its heritage but with a modern twist of contemporary service and comforts in the rooms. The rooms are individually furnished and very much in character with the building, but provide comfortable beds, tv, wifi and tea and fresh coffee making facilities. The bathroom was basic and...
