Very relaxing stay in charming accommodation within a lovely country village...what more could you ask for? Fantastic breakfast, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and a village with three pubs! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful stay outside of a bustling city or town

Upon arrival we were warmly greeted by the owner, Susan Henderson and shown to our room, we were warned that as it was an old building some of the beams were quite low, well for my 6' 4" height it was. The room was smaller than average but very tidy and clean with coffee and tea available free of charge...

Myself, my Husband and my Mother all stayed here for one night as we had a wedding locally. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived. The rooms were spacious and there were plenty of tea/coffee/milk in our rooms (we like our hot drinks!) It was little touches like the bottles of water and hand cream that were welcome. Comfortable large double bed and cosy feel to the room...... Superb breakfast choice included in the good value room price, with full English...

Welcoming place to stay with friendly staff. The hotel was very clean throughout, the room had everything I needed, the breakfast was great with a good choice of menu. Central location in the village made everything there accessible and within walking distance.

Excellent value. Lovely host. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Room well appointed and very good value (only gripe was that my curtain did not quite close fully). Good local pubs and lovely town. Would visit again.

I stayed here for one night and found the quality and value for money excellent. The room was of good size and furnished to a very high standard. An excellent breakfast with great choice. I recommend most highly. You will not be disappointed.

Lovely hotel with very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Modern bathrooms and very comfortable beds. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Excellent quality and choice of dishes at both breakfast and dinner.

Looking for somewhere near relatives and found this gem of a hotel. We received a warm welcome. Check in was quick and easy. Room was warm, clean and spacious. Bed was comfortable. It was very quiet and peaceful and our car was right outside. Breakfast choices were great. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
