Outside looked like it had been painted recently and gave a good impression. The owner is a nice lady who does like to chat.Secure parking is available but we just parked on the road. The en-suite was fine, clean with fresh towels.I was pleased to see a decent size flat screen tv in the room, and a hairdryer. The window was broke but had a...

We recently stayed for one night and was very impressed. We found it to be clean and tidy, fabulous cooked breakfast in the morning. Faultless service throughout visit. We will stay here again. My only comment would be about the parking at the rear of the building, although there are plenty of spaces it is a very narrow lane and...

stayed only one night but was very impressed with the welcome from lovely mary and her sons, the room i got (no26) was excellent and very clean, yes there is a heavily potholed back road to the car park which is shared with other hotels so its not entirely the langhams responsibility but am sure a couple of ton of...

This hotel knows it's market perfectly. If you are looking for something along the lines of one of the chains like premier inn, Travelodge, campanile but don't want to pay their rates then this place is perfect. I've been working on a contract in Northampton for a little under 3 years. The first 18 months or so I stayed in...

A very pleasant and comfortable hotel run by the fabulously friendly Mary (who I think is a workaholic but clearly loves her job) and her family. Her welcome could not have been warmer. Although situated on a busy and inevitably noisy road, we were not aware of traffic noise at all inside the hotel though, admittedly, our room was to...

I stay at 'The Langham' every week as I work away from home! After trying some of the faceless budget hotels i am so pleased I found this little gem. Great value and the Breakfast is superb! Idealy located close to the Town Centre, its just 15 minute walk into the main shopping area!

Only stayed for a Saturday night but could have easily stayed longer. Hotel was spotless, the staff were really friendly without the over the top fawning you get from some hotel staff. The room was large, airy, clean and plenty of storage space. The breakfast was quality. I've seen some negative comments re this hotel and can't really understand why!...

We arrived very late during the night and our room was very cold because the heating didn't work and the windows were broken. There was lot of noisy coming from the Barrack Road especially early in the morning. We complained for the temperature in the room and the day after we found an eletric heating in the room. The bathroom...

Firstly, arriving at the hotel you are greeted by a horrendously potholed and flooded road to the car park. We have only just bought our car and we were worried about damaging it! We had a colleague also staying at the hotel who informed the staff that he had had to block in a few other vehicles parked in the...

Needed just a one night stop over after a theatre visit and meal out, chose it because it was cheap and the reviews seemed to be ok on the whole. Car park and getting into it is a bit of a nightmare, we weren't blocked in so wasn't a problem for us. The twin room we had was small and...
