A good friendly b&b with the best full English breakfast ever. comfy beds, amazing showers,very close to train station,very easy to walk to town,around 20 to 45 mins depending on how slow you walk. Andrew and Joanne are great hosts, very pleasant,they will do their best to sort out any needs you may require. I've stayed here before around 6yrs...

We stayed at this fabulous B&B as we were going to a gig at The Barbican. We arrived just after 12 and we were able to park on site which is a bonus straight away. The entrance had a vadt array of guides of places to visit . Our host was lovely and friendly , very welcoming as she showed...

This is a beautiful B&B with a perfect location for walking into the city! Staff were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable of the area and there is plenty of additional information, leaflets etc. Check in is swift and simple and we were shown to our room were we had everything we might need - tea and coffee available, towels, great sized...

it was the first time me and my partner visiting York and we couldn't have chose a better place to stay. Its near all the racetrack and town only a 15min walk. Stayed here recently with my 18 year old daughter, while visiting my other daughter who lives in York. The guest house was a Lovely facility, convenient location to the town & bus routes, clean, comfortable, great breakfast selection (fresh fruit, cereals & cooked breakfast)

It was mine and my Mums first trip to York together and we couldn't have chosen a better place to stay, We had 4 wonderful days and nights at St Georges and everything was amazing. My husband and I visited York this weekend. We stayed here for 2 nights and were very pleased with our choice. Friendly and helpful hosts, we had room 2 which was large and on the front of the house with a very comfy bed and lovely decor. Full size TV. Lovely en suite shower , shower gel not very good...

My partner and I had a weeks stay in this lovely B&B run by a very friendly couple. Room and facilties were excellent and the meals were very tasty and well presented. I thoroughly recommend it to anyone planning a holiday or business trip to York. Dogs are welcome too. They have a friendly cat called Kitson too.

A warm welcome from the owner always goes a long way! They had previously agreed arrangements so our nervous little dog could see us when we were eating but from outside of the breakfast room. Our Victorian house now has 8 individually decorated ensuite bedrooms. We have free wifi and free parking and are situated in a quiet cul-de-sac across from York's racecourse. It's a 10 minute walk to the city walls, then a further 10 mins walk to the centre. Our emphasis is on friendliness and cleanliness. Choose from either our ground & 1st floor rooms which include a home cooked breakfast served in our dining room (or relax & enjoy breakfast in bed).
