This was by far the worst hotel I have ever had the misfortune to stay in. A plague of Ladybirds were waiting in our damp ridden hovel of a room. The only positive aspect for this accommodation was the easy check out process. NEVER STAY HERE!!!!

we were on the ground floor in a twinbedded room. The carpet was badly marked and the shower rail was broken. the floor sagged and had hot spots? which was odd and worrying. From our window you could see the back wall and a lovely view of everyone waliking from the back and all the smokers. There was no sound prooffing...

Glad I hadn't read reviews before booking this place. The entrance hall was very shabby but a tidy up and a lick of paint would have improved it. Our room (no. 2) was on the ground floor at the back of the building and was quiet, in contrast with what some other reviewers have said. The beds were comfortable, and...

Hotel state free parking but the parking round the back is tiny and they were not helpful with where to park. Hotel room freezing cold, dirty, tired, smelt damp. The bathroom! Oh dear. Absolute disgrace, it doesn't even deserve to be a 2 star hotel. You'd think with all the bad reviews they would actually address the problems, needs completely...

Seemed only bedding and towels had been changed.Asked to have refund/ move: next room top floor room 10. Better in that we managed to get...

Blossoms- sounds lovely, quaint and welcoming. BUT- this place's title couldn't be further from the truth! Our room (no.4) was absolutely filthy. Blood stains on the carpet, thick dust, filthy bathroom floor, beds not made properly, filthy walls and dirty headboards. No wardrobe (fair enough for the price). We arrived back one night after being out all day and evening,...

A very stained chair seat, a dirty bathroom of which the door brushed against the toilet seat when opening & closing. The room door was a struggle to open then it wouldn't lock. The window blind was stained & the paint was peeling off the ceiling and walls. There was a bed base stored on top of the bathroom cubicle...

Okay so I'm going to summarise this with little bullets, but a little background myself and my wife visited York for an early valentines gift. Kinda romantic break. Then after a 3 hour drive we arrive at our destination Blossoms York! The pictures on booking.com look very nice and the location is good. We were really looking forward to seeing...
