A super B&B with the added bonus of a car park & a yorkie bar :-) A little walk in to town which isn't a problem as there are plenty of watering holes on the way to stop and top up on refreshments Made to feel very welcome and comfortable. Breakfasts were great and started the day off nicely. Also...

We have just stayed at Apple house for 2 nights what a lovely place. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was excellent. Very near to centre of York and this place has a excellent car park to the rear. Thank you Pam and Tony for being excellent hosts.

Really this is just a reinforcement of most other reviews. This place delivers everything we had wished for and then some more as well. For us it would earn the 5 stars for just a few of the key features, but it delivers them all. * More than dog friendly - dog ecstatic maybe? Our dog was greeted, fussed over...

I stayed at Apple House for four nights in January 2017 and found Apple House very easily thanks to its great location (near the train station, but not so near as to be noisy) and proximity to York city centre and the suburb of Acomb. The owners, Pam and Tony are very friendly without being overbearing, and are accommodating, even...

Location perfect for walking into the city of York. Hosts wonderful and extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast second to none. The room was quaint, comfortable bed, great shower and plenty of refreshments plus bottled water. It is a family friendly B&B and unfortunately we had a little boy who woke at 5.30am every morning (no fault of the B&B). Would...

Looking online for somewhere to stay in York whilst attending a scientific meeting in the City. Rather frightened at the cost of the main hotels in the locality, so went for the Apple House based on the reviews on TripAdvisor. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a good en-suite bathroom and shower / bath. Breakfast comprised a superior selection...

This is our second visit to Apple House in York. Pam & Tony are great hosts, as ever. Our room had the benefit of a brand new bed, which was lovely & comfortable. Breakfast is brilliant with a fantastic choice, there were numerous breakfast cereals , fresh fruits and yogurts followed by a choice of freshly cooked items. Apple house...

Tony and Pam supplied us with bottled water and Pam bless her went to the chemist at 9am saturday morning for medication to help our symptoms. We were overwhelmed by their...

We stayed here again in November as we had booked to see a show at the Opera House.Pam and Tony are great and very welcoming. Lovely room at the rear ('Russet room') which overlooks the car park and garden beyond which is the railway which is great as I love trains. Just to dispel anyone's fears it's not noisy and...
