Lovely Guest House! My and my boyfriend stayed in room 5, (four poster bed with the spa bath). The room was clean and nicely furnished, it's best feature was the spa bath which was nice to jump into after a long day on our feet in York. I would definitely recommend this room, we slept very comfortably. All the rooms...

“We were made to feel VERY welcome by Tony, when we arrived. Diana, (Tony's wife), is so bright and bubbly, and makes THE BEST poached eggs, ever, breakfast is wonderful, cereal, fruit juice toast, marmalade, jams etc including MARMITE.. I was lucky enough to be shown the other exotic rooms in this guest house, and I must say, they are...

What a sweet place. Tony and his wife are attentive, friendly and very eager to help. Also they're willing to enter into a political discussion as long as you're willing to defend your position. Take a cab or bus if you're coming by train and are not into walking.

We stayed in room 6 at the top of the stairs but they carried our bags up for us and it was not all that steep a stairway. Room 6 has a full...

This very charming bed and breakfast is located ten minutes or so from the center of old York. Tony and his wife, gregarious and very helpful, provide accommodations that are modern and very comfortable. Breakfast was ample. This was a great location.

Tony and Diana could not be more gracious hosts. Our two night stay on May 17 and 18, 2016 was wonderful. Tony had many practical recommendations for our visit. The room was very clean and the breakfast excellent. The inn is within walking distance of old town center. There are stairs but don't worry as Tony is more than ready...
