Clean and comfortable with lotsof extra little touches and very pleasant owners. About a 10-20 minute walk from the Minster. Owner operates a shuttle into and back from town a couple of times per day which I thought was a great idea. Would visit again and definately recommend.

The owners were so friendly and welcoming, they would do anything for you to feel comfortable. The accommodation was beautiful, all modern furnishings with each room having an individual and unique theme. We stayed in the Japan Red room in the tower, the en suite was spotless and the bed was very comfortable! Breakfast was lovely and served pretty much...

A really lovely place to stay. Close to the city of York (10 minute walk) but you can book a lift into town if you prefer. Breakfasts were perfectly cooked and hot ( cereals etc were also plentiful) The hosts were always friendly and helpful and the room were spotless (we stayed in the Japanese themed room with a sunken...

First, apologies for such a late review. We stayed at the Tower Guest House for two nights in early July and it was one of the best B&Bs that we stayed at during our two week trip to the UK. It was very easy to find using GPS, and parking was available. The room was fabulous, clean and well decorated....

I can't wait to come back to this hotel, everything was great! We went up to York for the weekend and my boyfriend booked the room but wouldn't tell me which. He booked the gorgeous white room with the red pillows and dressing table. When we arrived we were greeted by the owner who was so warming and welcoming chap....

This fabulous guest house, with an Eastern theme is amazing. Attention to detail is excellent. They have spent a fortune making this guest house modern with all mod cons, yet homely. English breakfast was lovely. Very highly recommended.

Unique guest house - quite quirky, but interesting. Our room had a four poster bed and spa - very relaxing after a long walk around York, sampling the Christmas Market. York centre is about 10 minutes walk, but there is a shuttle service run by the guest house at certain times. Breakfast was excellent.

Second time I have stayed and just as good as the first. With the added bonus of a "shuttle bus" to drop you into the city and then collect you. By far the best place I've stayed in anywhere. (Been to Colchester, Bristol and Eastbourne).
