Stayed from Friday 5th until Sunday 7th December for my birthday. We also had friends stay here who had travel from Colchester. My husband and I were in room one which was very clean and spacious. Tea/coffee making facilities were provided and there was also herbal tea, hot chocolate and the usual sugar/milk but sweeteners were also provided. An iron/ironing...

We stayed here this weekend. We had the front room which was a large size, very warm, clean and a pleasure to stay in. Phil recomended sites for us to visit, pubs to go. We didn't arrive till late Friday due to weather and road conditions but this wasn't a problem with Carol and Phil. Tea, coffee, milk restocked daily....

We stayed two nights in a room to the rear which was lovely and quiet. The B&B has an excellent location. We left our car parked in the off-street parking and walked into York (about 10 mins) which was really handy as we saw that traffic and parking could be a hassle later in the day. Carol is a very...

My apprehension was unfounded as there was a...

Stayed overnight in midweek and had a great break. Spacious, clean rooms with comfortable double bed and bathroom had a nice, easy to use shower. All 3 rooms are on first floor and wifi signal was strong. Owner was flexible with check in and check out which helped us to get the most from our stay. Would recommend ringing direct...

Spent two nights in the family room as it was the only room available. Very clean and comfortable with super soft fluffy towels, lovely host, excellent breakfast and the plus of having parking in the city centre. Would definitely stay again.

“We were in Room 1 which is directly over the kitchen. This wasn't a problem to us, but if you don't like been woken up early. perhaps rooms 2 or 3 would be more better. Reason you get a bit a noise when they start cooking breakfasts.”
