Very lovely hotel. Very modern and clean. A lovely welcome, staff helpful. Room clean, very nice bathroom shower had extra jets, bath had lights and jacuzzi. Telly was a bit tempremental. Breakfast was tasty, the room was big, clean and staff were helpful. A lovely choice of food too. Hotel wasn't far from the local park and near the walls....

The staff were incredibly helpful and very apologetic about the room mix up. The room was spotless, the bathroom excellent and after a couple of issues (couldnt make the tv work!) it was everything we needed. Bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Positives - Room size Bed - size, comfort and lovely sheets Hot water (bath fills so quickly!) Staff - polite, helpful and friendly Car park (at a price) LOCATION! Negatives - Noise suppression - from other rooms and street (although not that much traffic) Décor Over all - pleased and given that it is being renovated I decided on 4/5

The hotel was comfortable.Staff were friendly, helpful and professional. The hotel is directly opposite a beautiful park and close to the river, providing pleasant walks into the city. It is a short walk to the station.

I recently stayed at the Jorvik Hotel mid week with my partner. The hotel was currently undergoing some building/renovation works which was apparent by the stark contrasts of parts of the hotel. When the renovation is complete the hotel will be very nice & quirky. Our en-suite room was a good size with everything we needed, bed was comfy, baht...

I don't really have and complaints as the hotel was clean, well placed for the city centre and exactly what it says on the tin. For such an old building i was expecting more character but understand that they have tried to give the place a modern makeover. No wifi and a loose bedside lamp but still well priced and...

We stayed two nights. The price was cheaper than a lot of others we had looked at. Excellent location for the city centre. No complaints about the room and the staff were helpful and friendly. We were aware that parking was limited so we're prepared for the additional cost. Which in the end was lower than we anticipated. Will book...

On the morning we were leaving, a room window was smashed from the outside by BT contractors before 9am despite being assured they weren't supposed to start before 9. When we complained to reception, it took 5 minutes for someone to even come and look at the window as they went outside first to talk to the workmen and at...
