We're to start. Beautiful apartment everything you need, bed super comfy, staff very friendly and helpful. Great location, breakfast was lovely and all the little extra in hotel there was a lounge with mince pies cake and mulled wine plus tea and coffee. They have gone that extra mile to make it special and we had a super weekend.

I'll start with the positive - comfy bed, silent room, great night sleep, love the handmade cake in room and in lounge. Also perfect location! Negatives - bathroom was size of postage stamp with used contact lense on floor so not sure if thoroughly cleaned, bedroom was spotless so perhaps just a one off. Tv was size of iPad, but...

For those who knew this b & b when it was " The Old Coach House " will , I am sure, concur that the living heart and soul had been ripped out and replaced with a ghastly refit. The room we had was just down the road. two apartments have been bought. They were quite well appointed. Breakfast was...

This was a birthday present to my partner from his family so was a surprise to come here. Great location as a two minute walk to town with pubs and restaurants on the same road also. The room was large and comfy and even though it was fully booked that night we didn't hear any noise from anyone else in...

I only stayed for one night on business at the last minute. Everything ran smoothly and I didn't actually see any of the staff due to my late checkin and early departure but the flat was far bigger than the expected and very good value for money.

Stayed for two nights in the first floor apartment, just a two minute walk along Marygate from the owners' B&B. Used the B&B for breakfast both mornings - lovely traditional breakfasts, and home-made bread. Friendly staff. Easy access into central York either through museum gardens or along the river. Ideal location for access to lively centre all day and night....

We had 4 poster beds at top of house. Really comfy and quiet. Warning - superb breakfast - don't overorder - All local real food - very tasty and very filling. And each table has their own toaster and a great range of local breads so keep some room for toast. And the pub next door was great fun. We...

Extremely welcoming and helpful staff. Great location for visiting York. Superb cake in the coffee lounge! Lovely little room, could have done with a more powerful shower but that's only a minor quibble. Will definitely return one day.
