Fantastic location and just 5 minutes walk into centre. Welcoming, nicely decorated and very clean with tea and coffee making facilities. Excellent locally sourced full English breakfast. Will definitely return.

We booked late for a spontaneous night in York. Cheap and 5 mins walk from York Minster. Whole building desperately needs a facelift - chipped paint and tired furniture. Our room was up several flights of stairs in the attic! We could only stand upright in less than half of the room and had to take care when getting in...

Having stayed before and received a friendly welcome, stay and very clean comfortable room decided to stay again on our last minute stay in York. Easy walking distance to centre. Again as comfortable and quiet even though in s room at the front .

Nice guest house. Friendly staff. Good breakfast to set you up for the day. Although on the main road, we weren't too bothered by the sound of traffic. It is in an excellent spot to park up for the period of your stay, as it is barely 5 minutes walk from the Minster. We are more than happy to come...

The staff were really nice here and it was clean. However, I got woken up at about 6.30am every morning we were here as the fan of next door's bathroom was really loud through our wall. I could easily hear the doors being slammed also. The bed was also a little small.

I would like to say it's clean but it's not cobwebs everywhere, paint chipped, walls very thin(as I found out about 10minutes ago when the people in a...

Only 15 minutes walk from the train station, 10 minutes from the city walls. We received a warm welcome from Jason on arrival, we arrived early at 1pm, but our room was already. Jason gave us a map of York which helped. Room 5 with a double and single bed at the front of the Guest house. It was clean...

The guest house is 10 mins walk from the minster, and you get a parking permit so you can park for free throughout your stay. The B&B is in the style of the area, which does result in the rooms being a little small but I loved the quirkiness which reminds you of where you are. Room was clean, and...
