Stayed here one night .There is only three rooms. We were in room three at the back of the Inn which was very clean and comfortable. There is a separate entrance from the bar. Modern friendly pub in ideal location right on the harbour..Only down side there is no breakfast or any food.

I didn't book ahead and was lucky to get a room in Whitby. The Buck was just what I needed. It was very clean and well heated and ventilated. They are very generous with the coffee, chocolate and tea in the room. I was on the first floor right above the disco. I am deaf in one ear and so... More

The buck in is one place in whitby I would say accommodates everyone. I walked in and was told about the free pool that day. Whilst me and my mate played free pool the owner went on to mention to our girlfriends about free music. That was simply music to our ears. Great priced ale and the ladies are happy... More

We went here a few times for drinks. We picked a spot on the stools at the front window an ideal spot for watching people go by. The bar staff were very friendly and came round the other side of the bar to chat. The bar is dog friendly too. This was the best pub we visited in Whitby.

We came back for our second visit, this time staying for 2 nights. There is a lovely atmosphere in the Buck Inn both upstairs and downstairs. There is a sign at the top of the stairway that says that you enter as strangers and leave as friends. Julie and Steve do make you feel like this. The room itself was... More

We visited at Easter, we did not stop in the Accomodation but the pub is great, right on the sea front, Sky tv, friendly staff, good music and dog friendly. It was quite busy and noisy on the Saturday afternoon. Well worth a visit.

If the brewery company Carling provided b&b's it would be The Buck Inn as it is probably the best pub b&b ever. Lovely clean and comfortable room with a fantastic harbour view, the landlord and landlady were really friendly and the bar staff were helpful and friendly too. We will definitely stay here again.
