Lovely place to stay within short walk to centre of Whitby. My dog and I were warmly welcomed, the en-suite was clean and comfortable. Fab breakfast (with an extra sausage for the dog). Next time I'll book a two night stay !!

We were greeted by the owners father I believe as they were at a wedding over the two nights we stayed. We had the room on the ground floor, although we were right opposite the dining room we heard no noise from there. On a main roundabout on the way into Whitby, it could get quite busy but again never...

First impression, decor very tired. We were allocated a/the garden room, on the first floor. Pine, four poster bed dominated the room; quite stuffy so had to have window open, which was a complete nightmare!!!! Inconsiderate guests, very loud, smoking and drinking directly below the window. One would have thought the proprietor would have asked them to keep the noise...

There was no parking which is frustrating it is on a first come first served basis which doesn't suit with a van full of equipment, the room was fine though and the breakfast I thought was superb, I would stay here again.

On arrival we were delighted to be able to park our car in the hotel parking spaces right next to the building. We arrived early to Whitby bout half...
