Me and my wife arrived yesterday at the specified check in time with ample free parking. Hotel owner had text previous with clear, simple instructions of how to self check in, which we both found brilliant. Once into the building we were greeted by lovely surroundings and decor. We were up on the second floor, once into the room we...

We had a lovely 2 night stay in this perfectly located guest house. The room was very clean and spacious and offered a large en-suite too. We loved the breakfast boxes that came waiting outside your door each morning with plenty of choice for you to eat. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for a stay in central Whitby with...

Came up for a couple of days, stopped in Room 5 which was spacious, clean and warm. Linda made us feel welcome as usual, breakfast was superb, and we cannot wait to return to our favourite B&B in Whitby, it is just like coming home!

OK its January so Whitby didn't quite have the sun or temperatures of Tenerife, but the warmth of the welcome found at Elford house more than made up the British climate. A beautifully presented house with spacious rooms vaulted ceilings and original features, with parking and comfy beds, slept like a log. Thanks Linda and Ged for a fabulous stay.

We stayed at this guest house in one of the uppermost rooms that was just as charming as it appeared on the booking site. With a view over Whitby towards the Abbey in the distance, our room had a large metal frame sofabed and matching double. The wooden features and floor added to the country feel of the place. We...
