We took advantage of the fantastic bed breakfast and evening meal offer of £89, what an absolute bargain, we stayed Easter Monday to Tuesday and had a fabulous room at the top of the house with great views of the countryside, the room was huge, beautifully furnished with period furniture and a good ensuite bathroom with piping hot water. The...

On arrival at the hotel we couldn't get in the reception door despite ringing the doorbell (expected after reading previous reviews) Once we were inside and out of the rain, the receptionist asked if we wanted to dine that night, however I felt she rushed us and we didn't have any privacy to discuss what we wanted to do so...

This hotel is set in a great location & is only a 10 min drive to the Harbour depending on traffic. When we arrived we were shown to our room & it appeared to be clean, tidy & well presented. Then to my disappointment, I found some empty wine bottles & cans down by the side of the wardrobe. I...

Had a wonderful time at Dunsley Hall amazing food, fantastic price. Staff very friendly and accommodating for our 9 year old son. I can't wait to go back one of the best hotels we have stayed in for a very long time.

Nice place;nice food;great location for visiting surrounding areas. Cosy little bar to relax in. Peace and quiet . You do need a car if staying here to get out and about. Only slight thing to improve on is the reception area; always seemed busy and not chilled when you get there.

Recently stayed 2 nights, and enjoyed the whole experience. Room was very comfortable, staff were fantastic, food was good. Setting and location very quiet and tranquil. The building itself has lots of character, particularly liked the Residents Lounge [maybe thats me being a bit old fashioned]. Will definately be staying here again.

About 4 miles from Whitby in the lovely village of Dunsley this hotel has what it takes for a relaxing break in comfortable surroundings. A couple of minor points - having the bar staffed by someone from reception meant several customers had to wait quite a while to be served - a couple even decided not to bother with a...
