booked through laterooms in April arrived September 19th to find hotel closed down. laterooms had not even bothered to tell us. When I complained they just said sorry and blamed the owner and took no responsibility why use lateroms if when you get there the hotel may be closed down!!!

Before we arrived we were rather worried as we hadn't had a confirmation email from late rooms and had rang the b&b beforehand numerous times but no answer. We thought 'in for a penny' if we get there and the room isn't available we'll find somewhere with vacancies on the day. Upon arrival we were very warmly welcomed by Ruth,...

We worried at first because we couldnt get in touch with the owner, but then finally had a call and was a very pleasent experience throughout. One of the comfiest beds we have been in, the hotel was spotless apart from slight stain on the shower head. Id 100% stay here again, lovely owner, found our humour very funny :)...

I recently stayed here for a 2 nights for a little romantic getaway. Its in a great location, the manager was really welcoming. We was given a free parking permit which was really helpful as we discovered parking is a bit of a nightmare. The room itself was clean and great for what we needed, the only issue we had was...

We stayed for 2 nights whilst visiting family here. It's clean light and airy. Couldn't ask for more! Location is perfect, we would definatly stay here again. I really liked the fact you are left alone and have breakfast in your room. A fantastic find

The hotel itself is very well situated in Whitby. When we got there, the Landlord was very friendly and carried up the cases for us. The room was nice and clean. The thing that we were really disappointed with, was that they have no breakfast room, so had to have the breakfast in our room. We normally understand that if...

Lovely location just up from the whale bone arches and minutes from the beach, outrageous decor (black and white room!) but clean and comfortable and Paul the owner was so lovely and helpful. We had a great stay and we're particularly impressed by the marvellous art on the staircase.

We stayed here for one night as part of a Yorkshire roadtrip. On arrival, Paul was extremely helpful in explaining where to park and gave us a free parking disc to display in the car during our stay. He also very kindly helped us with our bags from the car to our room. Our stay was pleasant and the continental...

“This hotel offers a cold breakfast of croissants, jam, cereals etc with a generous hospitality tray. They don't do cooked food and this reflects in the vary fair price they offer. Car parking is best looked for later in the evening.”
