A fantastic B and B in a good location, not right in the centre of Whitby, but only a couple of minutes walk. A nice clean, comfortable room that gave a great view of the abbey. The breakfasts were absolutely superb. But best of all, the welcome from our hosts Tania and David, whose warmth, humour and friendliness made us feel...

From the moment we stepped across the threshold we felt really welcome. Tania and David introduced themselves, gave us our parking permit and took us to our room. The room was spacious, airy with a view of the abbey.....and full of little touches that made it feel like home. These rooms are furnished by people who said to themselves "what...

Arrived on Friday on our way home from Northumberland, only for one night. Arrival was nice, very informative, easy to park (got parking permit). Shown to our room with no hassle, the room was like being home again at my Mums. Everything in it's place, very clean, towels on the bed with a chocolate on each, lots of nice drinks...

Decided to take a break from the grind and go to Whitby for a few days. Found online, the Waverley, Whitby looked nice so I booked for 3 nights. From the warm welcome to our comfy warm room was quick, and a welcome pot of tea was provided by Dave, the owner. To business; the room was comfortable and warm...

I spent a weekend at The Waverley, what a great B&B! Plenty of space in my spotless, comfortable, and fully furnished single room (no.2) with great views of the Abbey. The breakfast was excellent, plenty to choose from at the buffet, and their Full English Breakfast is absolutely delicious! Dave and Tania are perfect hosts, friendly, welcoming, and with great...

What a wonderful guest house. I stayed 1st weekend of Feb which coincided with the newly created steampunk weekend. The breakfast is amazing, the location is within walking distance of Whitby, near all the amenities. The room I stayed in was brilliant, comfy bed. The hosts Tania and David we're wonderful. Will definitely be back.

Good couple of nights stay with parents while visiting Whitby. The owners are friendly and offer a warm welcome. Plenty of on street parking and a short walk to the town and sea. Rooms are clean and comfortable and a nice cooked to order breakfast. Some rooms also have abbey views.

Just returned from two nights B&B celebrating the New Year. Lovely hotel, gorgeous full cooked breakfast and friendly proprietors. We stayed in room 10 (double room) on the top floor, small room but still plenty of room and well equipped, however the water in the shower just trickled out. Nice quiet location, but close to amenities. Enjoyable stay.
