Upon arrival I was told rather sharply that I had not booked in their hotel !! The booking was there when she looked on the computer. On first impression the room seemed OK with a sea view- just a bit expensive at £89 for 1 person. As I sat watching tv I could hear all the movements of my neighbours...

Rooms are small however very clean and comfortable. Sufficient for a couple of nights. The breakfast was very yummy and freshly cooked. Had dinner one night and it was really nice. We had pre dinner drinks in the bar which is very cute too. The service was great. The owners were lovely and even gave us the heads up on...

This was our second stay here, the last time it was so good we stayed an extra night. Sadly not so on this two night visit. The location is good and we booked well in advance and got a sea view room. The room is very clean but has a cheap IKEA bed that wasn't very comfortable. The ensuite was...

Lovely Hotel overlooking the sea and a short (15 minute) walk down to the town. The hotel was clean and we were received with a warm welcome. Swapped our 3rd level room for a first floor room with a shower with no hassle. Took a stroll down to the town and while people watching and drinking beer at the Pier...

I've stayed in some shockers on the North Yorks coast so didn't know what to expect. But to be fair The Seacliffe was lovely. We had a double room with a seaview (room 11) and it was well worth it. The room was very clean, the ensuite was clean too. All facilities were great and there was a brand new...

My husband and I stayed here for the weekend Friday 17th June, with friends. We had a warm welcome and although several people had arrived at the same time check in was quick. Our room was clean with good quality white bedding. It was small but adequate. The bathroom was modern and spacious and was complete with thick white towels....

My wife and I stayed for five days. On balance I would describe it as very good, with only a couple of gripes. Firstly, the room was fine, the bed was very comfortable and it was very clean. The two gripes were that the wardrobe was very small for two people (minor), and more importantly the shower was very weak...
