Had a lovely couple of days in Whitby for the goth weekend... Stayed at the blencathra and could not complain about a thing we were made to feel welcome the minute we stepped through the door... Breakfast was lovely and the rooms were very nice... Would definitely return..

Thanks to Ron and Liz for their excellent hospitality. Everything was perfect, and the owners certainly made the stay memorable. Our room was on the top floor, so a bit of a trek, however it was warm and comfortable, and had a spacious bathroom. We'll definitely be back!

A very well situated guest house, being only five minutes walk from the centre of wonderful whitby. The owners, Ron & Liz, are lovely and welcoming, whilst allowing you your privacy. Dogs are also welcome, which is a massive bonus. Breakfast is top notch and well worth wrenching yourself out of bed for. We will definitely stay here again.

Just come back from an amazing weekend at this fab b&b. Ron and Liz were fab hosts. Couldn't do enough for you. Had to almost pay a ransom to get my border collie back though lol! She loved them. They looked after her while we had breakfast and loaded the car up. Will definitely stay here again
