Stayed a couple of times. Always stay here when we visit Whitby. Very welcoming and great rooms. The owners can't do enough for you when your there. The breakfasts are up there with the best as well ;). Also in a great location just a short walk from the centre of town.

Stayed for one Thursday night in May. The host Ian was very friendly and welcoming, nothing was to much trouble. The room was clean and we had a good nights sleep. Very pleasant 2day stay at the magnolia guest house.The owners Ian & Sarah were pleasant & accommodating people to deal with,nothing was to much trouble for them .The breakfast was spot on .would definatley recommend the magnolia to future guests. Thank you .Tina , Grahame, Zoe&Toby☺

Managed to book into this guest house on the West Cliff of Whitby, where they accommodated 3 single people and a dog at the last minute with grace and charm. The rooms are not swish, but are comfortable and near to the town centre. Parking either on street (difficult to find) or £6 for 24 hours in the West Cliff...

Arriving in Whitby on what turned out the be the spring Goth festival was a real surprise, what was more surprising was to find the Magnolia B&B had just had a cancellation and Ian the owner could not have been more helpful. Our room in the second floor was spotless with plenty of tea and coffee and lovely soft towels....

Stayed at the magnolia for two nights in April and really can't say enough about it . As I was working on the Friday we informed Ian of our late arrival and were told this wasn't a problem which was made very evident by the more than warm welcome we recived when we did arrive at 7.45 . Thank you for a great weekend,the owners of the hotel are 2 of the nicest people you could meet,the hotel is spotless and the breakfast fantastic,lovely rooms with plenty of space,great place if you have a dog,our dog milo loved his 1st trip to the seaside,we will come again.

I really want to give this b&b a brilliant review. Its a very clean welcoming place with lovely owners, but unfortunately we had room 6 which Ian admitted was really a single which they had put a double bed in. We went with friends who had room 3 they stayed 2 nights so had a bigger one we only stayed...

We stayed With Ian and Sarah for 3 nights for my 60th birthday and they made us so welcome the room was excellent and the breakfast was excellent I would recommend this to all we will be going back thank you Linda &Gerry 12/3/15
