Location great, bed comfy, lovely breakfast. However that is where is ends! Recently stayed at the Grove for a couple of nights with my husband, we arrived to find all parking spaces had been filled. When we left the car there were no directions to the Reception. No teaspoons were left with the cups Next morning I had a shower...

Comfortable enough bed & facilities. Bath was a bit cold as hot water & heating a bit hit & miss...we stayed in the family room/ apartment as the room we had booked was being refurbished. I Struggled to make a meal in the kitchen on the Sunday as few places to eat out....found there was no microwave or washing up...

Pleasant B&B in a great location next to a nice park and a 5 minute walk to the center, river, harbour. Rooms and a decent size with ensuite but the double bed in our room was two single mattresses together, albeit pretty comfortable and the heating went off leaving our room cold until the evening. Breakfast was 5* and the...

We enjoyed a lovely weekend break here. A lovely friendly reception awaited us. Private parking was an added bonus. The location was perfect just a short walk into the centre. The room was spacious, immaculate and well equipped. Amazingly comfy bed. Nice shower and gorgeous fluffy towels.Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Ticked all the boxes for us. Highly recommended.

Room not overly big and the en suite shower was small. At least it was clean and the bed was comfy. Excellent breakfast, choice of cereal etc. and very large full English cooked breakfast. This hotel is not for anyone with mobility problems, there are steps and steep pathways from the car parking area behind the hotel and even more...

Just come back from our first time stay in this B&B..and overall it was pleasant. The only downside was that it was hilly. However this was overshadowed by the lovely owner lady (sorry can't remember her name) made us feel welcome mad couldn't do more for us. Lovely family who own the place. Comfy beds warm at night and clean....

This is a great place, the owner was lovely and very friendly. The room was big enough as we only planned on using it to sleep, breakfast was amazing with a selection of full english or continental. Was a Short walk from the town and beach. Would recommend to anyone.

Very lovely proprietor. Some places in the house needed attention a book case on the landing needed mending and on the top floor stuff needed moving it looked like s place to keep stuff. There were too many steps and there was no mention of this . So if you have limited mobility not s good idea to stay here....

Stayed for two nights with my husband and 7 month old baby. The b&b states designated car parking space for each room this is not the case. Don't park in the right hand corner because you get blocked in. Apart from that I can't fault it room was clean and big enough for a travel cot. The breakfast is 10...

We visited for a child-free break. We booked with Booking.com who had not passed on the correct info to the owners at The Grove but they were great. Very friendly and welcoming owners, they make you feel right at home. Really lovely breakfast too with as much cereal and fruit as you like. The location is spot on for the...
