Lovely little B&B where nothing is too much trouble for the owners, especially Brian who is a lovely man and will do anything to help. Rooms are clean and modern with a hearty English breakfast served.

The breakfast was top quality, fresh piping hot and plenty of choice. It really sets you up for the day. We have no need to look elsewhere when staying in Whitby for a...

This is the first time I have stayed at Hailwood and had a pretty good experience until the last day. The landlord was superb. The bed was very comfortable and had all mod cons including a dressing gown. The breakfast was lovely and hot and a good variety of cereals etc.....the only downfall was an adjoining door in my room...

We thought we had found a charm, but how wrong can you be! Upon arrival, the husband of the outfit showed us to our room on the 1st floor. We were very impressed - the decor, cleanliness etc (apart from the cobwebs hanging over the bed). Warning bells should have rang when he told us to 'make sure we turn...
