We were allocated room 315 which was spacious, modern, functional and spotlessly clean and equipped with a fan, iron and ironing board and basic hospitality tray, no decaf, biscuits or frills. Bathroom had a great over bath shower and hand wash and shower gel were provided wall mounted again basic no frills eg lotions, shower cap etc. Plenty of room for clothes and personal belongings and 2 chairs provided, also sufficient plug points and usb points for 2 people. No fast charge points though.
We took the breakfast which was £10 pp per day. Cheaper to book on arrival at £8 pp per day. Breakfast more than adequate not a huge choice.
Location is very convenient as it has been built over The bus station and is 10 minutes from the city centre and all it offers.
Would not hesitate to stay here again.
Hallway to the room smelt very fresh, (family) room 320 was very spacious and clean. Breakfast was tasty and worthy of the price, lots of variety from your full English items to cereals to croissants etc.
Reception staff, cleaners, cooks and manager were all polite.
Only minor issues we had were that one plug socket (closest to door) in room 320 wasn’t working though plenty of others to choose from.
No hairdryer in the room though a quick ask at reception and they provided us one without hesitation.
Car park next door is very convenient but very expensive (even with discount, ask at reception) so personally I’ll maybe look about next time.
Paid a 2 star price for a 5 star service, would recommend
The receptionist Lynda was most welcoming and friendly.
Our room was on the 5 th floor and was perfect, no noise at all and a very spacious room.
The choice at breakfast is excellent and very good value
If there is a Travelodge award for employee of the month it should go to Lynda she really was so helpful and made our stay very enjoyable
I would definitely stay at Norwich Travelodge again
Booked to see the Xmas lights and do some shopping so location was perfect. No free parking but car park is right next to the hotel and you get 40% off so I parked up and with the idea location we just walked everywhere because we were central
We brought our small dog and were happy he was welcome, but note that dogs aren't allowed in the restaurant so if your pet isn't great at being left alone in a hotel room then you may need to take turns with your travel companions (if you have them)eating breakfast.
Vegan food choices, but quorn sausages are on request so ask early as you go in for breakfast, and they're steamed so not the most appealing. No dairy free milk, so you may want to bring your own and they said they could keep it in their fridge if you like.
Clean, decent hotel in a good location. Not at all noisy at night even with the window open. Staff all wonderful.
You can stay at premier inn for the exact same price and actually be able to go in to your room without it being utterly disgusting.
"Parking is in the nearby multi storey car park. There is a demolition of a large building going on over the road from the hotel."Read full review
