Great value, good location, comfy room and beds. Needs more insulation between floors and rooms next door! Heard the room above break dancing at 4.30am and at 8am starting their drum and bass music! Great hosts. Good fun bar. Recommend

We wanted a base as we were meeting up with Australian friends who wanted to visit Norwich. I booked direct with them based on reviews. We were made to feel very welcome. Our double room was on the first floor, and was very clean and roomy with generously set coffee and tea tray, freeview TV and comfortable mattress. Some might...

I have stopped at the William IV previously and had no concerns whatsoever about going there again. It has a good size car park and it is possible to walk into the City from here as it is only a mile away. I have always received a very friendly welcome here and this was no exception with the formalities of...

Stayed there with friend clean friendly we were on the second floor absolutely huge room an bathroom loads of tea and coffee and little touches like small note pads which I have to say I wish I had taken, our friends did! Would definitely stay there again but it is really a drive or taxi into the centre I personally...

Group of 4 friends stayed in family room on the top floor (note 2 flights of stairs to get up there!). Comfortable, clean, all amenities as you would expect. Breakfast was great (just make sure all your cutlery is clean, please!). Very good price. Would stay again.

The room with two twin beds in it was large with a very good sized bathroom. This room was quite basic with no real frills but it worked OK for me. The location of this inn is about a 15-20 minute walk to the city center and mostly up-hill on the return journey so be prepared if you not taking...

I would go for the drinks and outside terrace but not for the food. Clearly is not a gastro-pub, more like a classic pub. Dont go for food during lunch time mid week as you will probably not find any.

Warm & friendly welcome. Very large & comfortable room with huge en-suite bathroom. Extremely comfortable bed. Good off road parking. Be aware that it is situated up a fairly steep hill about 15 mins walk from the city centre. Easy going down, not so easy walking back!

It's BSB weekend so hotels in the area are pretty expensive. We got 3 nights for under £100 a night so not bad. It's not fancy, the furniture doesn't match and the rooms can be quite dark. The beds (we could only get a twin room) were a frame type and felt a little cheap. The bathroom could do with...
