I recently stayed at the Georgian Townhouse in Norwich and had a great experience. The hotel is located excellently for the town centre and where I had to go with work. Parking was included and able to get a space. I was greeted promptly and check in was a breeze. The room was great, very clean and great decor and...

We booked this place fairly last minute and stayed in the annexe room at the back. It's located about 10 minutes walk from the town centre and restaurants, a little further from the Cathedral (and quite near the inner ring road but noise wasn't too much of a problem) in a chain of 3 or 4 Georgian houses. Parking was...

Stayed here on a Sunday night....What a gem of a hotel. Every need catered for in a comfortable and interesting room. The decor is high standard but unique - the bathroom spotless and spacious. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly and the breakfast was fabulous. I will definitely be coming back!

Very good service, I think we had 3 waiters ask if our meal was ok. Food is good and flavoursome and came out quite quickly. Setting is modern, comfortable and bright. Loos required cleaning. Prices are medium to high. Overall a good meal and would come back.

I have just stayed in this lovely hotel for the weekend with 3 of my friends for a girls weekend. The rooms were clean, well decorated with a lot of nice little touches. The staff were really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We dined in the restaurant on Friday evening and had a great meal with good service....

We stayed for one night. Our room was well appointed with great touches, a mini Smeg fridge a Nespresso coffee machine and a proper hairdryer. I'd visit again just for this! They have a large bar area and restaurant where we had a very good meal. The Pork belly was fabulous! The staff were efficient and friendly. Breakfast was one...

The hotel is centrally located, perfect if visiting students at UEA or NUA, it's about 10 minutes' walk into the centre of Norwich. The rooms are tastefully decorated, very clean and there are lots of nice touches like fresh milk in a SMEG fridge, a coffee maker, Roberts' radio, chocolate chip cookies .... to name a few. We stayed in...

First time stay in Norwich, The Georgian townhouse is a lovely place to stay. On arrival a welcoming checkin. The rooms are very clean and nicely decorated. We went to the bar and had a sharing board that was very tasty, great choice of gins with different garnishes ( big brownie points) The highlight of our stay was coming down...

The food was delicious, staff friendly and helpful and great atmosphere. There is locally sourced classics - Cromer crab, north Norfolk mussels - alongside other delicious offerings. The beetroot houmous was lovely!

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
This is our hotel review page. If you would like to review the restaurant please visit The Georgian Townhouse Restaurant. Many thanks :) It's about far more than a coat of paint... At The Georgian Townhouse - or TGT as we like to call it - we've created a little hidden city oasis where you come to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Combine 'Georgian' - yet funky modern - interior design with an enormous walled garden, loads of locally sourced quality produce, exciting and evolving seasonal menus, a collection of heritage cooking methods, some stylish and versatile function rooms, an interesting mix of craft beers, wines and spirits, and you begin to envisage TGT: seamlessly merging Georgian charm with a modern offbeat attitude, lashings of style, an abundance of personality. This is a corner where everything is just right. Rooms now open - See you soon! ... more   less
