This was my 7th stay at the Magic Mercure......and my best one so far :) Once again I was booked in for work in area. I had sent Sarah an e-mail once I had been booked in....saying how I really think I should get a suite......as I have had them in other hotels. Sarah bless her replied that she had...

Martin thank you for your review and thank you also for the kind comments regarding our service to you. May I please ask that in future you refrain from making personal references about my staff (and ex-staff) here; it makes me uncomfortable and I'm sure it makes them feel uncomfortable too. Un-PC is the kindest description I could think of...

Friendly staff, great pool (which kids had to themselves), good value. They is a pub just over the road and park on way home. Our room was very warm but the beds were incredibly comfy and a lovely TV. We'd definitely go back.

Me and my partner went to the murcure hotel with our three children expecting a nice family break. Like the last time we went there. We stayed two nights and had about 8 hours sleep in total the first night there was a party outside our room and went on very late with shouting music. The staff didn't seem to...

I am sorry you seem to have stayed on a very busy weekend for parties. Guests impacting each other is one of our greatest challenges here. We have the largest selection of family rooms in the City but noisy family parties are a risk i themselves.

This property delivers the basics well. A dated Mercure that needs refurbishing/TLC in the rooms and some hotel areas. Everything was functional and maintained in working order. Staff are friendly and helpful. They appear to enjoy working there. The location is a few miles outside Norwich City, so not walking distance to the main attractions. They do advertise an airport...

Sorry you didn't feel like a VIP Kevin, That is never our intention but we have such a limited stock of Privilege rooms this is frequently an issue. Upgraded toiletries or an extra drinks voucher are good ideas and I agree could have been offered as alternatives.

As part of our 20th wedding anniversary celebrations this year we decided to visit Norwich. We chose this hotel as it was offering a cheap deal. The saying you pay for what you get is never more true. The room was at the back of the hotel, and fairly quite. However there was mould growing on the net curtains and...

Garry, a mixed-bag of a stay for you in truth by the sound of your review. Sorry about the condensation issues, we do struggle with single glazed windows it's true. I'm pleased we looked after you well and hope you will be equally please with the upgrade we are planning.

My partner and I wanted a night away and found this little gem, if you want a friendly atmosphere and good food which was included in this stay also they have swimming pool and sauna well worth every penny. The staff are very polite and nothing is too much. The night Porter Stuart was fantastic running around to find us...

I went to the hotel today with my partner and baby to use the pool facility's. We decided to have some food before we went into the pool. We order a ham and cheese panini with chips to share. It all came out beautifully presented........ when the panini came both my partner and I expected the cheese to of been...

Emma yours is the first complaint I've had regarding the pool temperature so I am genuinely surprised and very sorry. We are serving thick cut chips but 11 does seem a very measly portion, sorry. Thank you for your kind comments regarding my staff member, I appreciate that.

Hotel staff lovely, central location, expectations were high as stayed in a number of Accor hotels (Novotel, Pullmans). Unfortunately the food was extremely disappointing. Starter with peashoots that looked more like crushed grass and Market Fish turning up with no capers or sauce and undercooked potatoes for a steep £17! First time I have ever sent food back hence the...

So sorry we got your dinner wrong. It's even more frustrating that we have been receiving amazing feedback from the new menu. We do need to apologise when we make mistakes so I am truly sorry.

Last stayed in this hotel in about 1988 and it now looks and feels it's age. Service and breakfast was ok but L'Accor hotels need to spend some money on this place to bring it up to a higher standard. Cracked sinks, ancient showers and the usual motel smell. But, free parking and free wi-fi is a plus.

With my teenage daughter to stay over visiting family and friends in Norwich. I chose this hotel TBH as it was local to family, within budget for a one night stay and one night was enough for us.
