Great staff, helpful right from the time of booking in to checking out. Great room, clean, cozy and welcoming. Great breakfast, well cooked and plenty of choice. Great location, easy walking distance to the station, shops, bars and restaurants. All that we wanted, happily recommend it and we would come again.

Booked to stay here after I made a mistake with a booking at another hotel (Luckily, Mrs F was understanding!) and we chose the Stracey Hotel as an alternative. Was actually a great surprise and the hotel was fabulous. Room was comfortable, spotlessly clean and even though overlooked the main road was perfectly quiet. Staff very friendly, breakfast excellent and...

Stayed at the Stracey over night with another couple. Our partners went to see the Norwich v Fulham game while we wandered around the town and canal. Very pleased with the Stacey with helpful staff and spotlessly clean rooms. Breakfast was good with lots of choice. I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

Stracey Hotel is conveniently close to Norwich train station, so it was perfect for leaving luggage after check-out until the evening train back. It's otherwise around 10-15 minutes walk to town center. Staff are friendly, rooms are clean and have all the amenities you need, while bathroom was of a good size. A small point I'd improve on is to...

My parents came for a visit and stayed at the hotel for for a few days. After our daily adventures I'd join them in the bar. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. The hotel is welcoming, clean and well located. The rooms are a good size with very nice en suite facilities Will definitely recommend :)

Check in was fast and efficient but beware if arriving late that reception is not 24hrs and the hotel main door is locked after 22:00. My single room was small but adequate in size with a comfortable bed. The both it and the bathroom looked to have been refurbished recently. However the lack of electric sockets available to use to...

I've just returned from a 3 night stay at the Stracey Hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the hotel was spotless and the breakfast was great! The hotel is a few minutes walk from the station and an easy walk to the restaurants and bars of the Riverside complex. We were able to park on the street outside...

After a not so good experience, this hotel exceeded my expectations. The staff very friendly and helpful, including helping me with my bag up and down steps. The room was perfect, as I had requested ground floor accomodation. The included breakfast was excellent, the juice cold, the croissants flaky, the cooked food hot and tasty. Easy walk to and from...

The Stracey is a very nice hotel, the receptionist that greeted us was very friendly and gave us info and a map of the town. The room was exceptionally clean and the shower was spacious and clean. It is a fair walk into town especially on a cold winters day but it would be very pleasant on a spring or...
