We stayed in this hotel for 6nights back in June. The check-in experience was very smooth and quick with our room ready for us when we arrived, even though we arrived very early due to an early flight. The hotel room was very clean and good size for London. The room had a kitchenette area with sink, hob, mini-fridge etc...

The hotel is very near the tube station of bayswater. Maybe the first time you enter to the room you feel that is small, but it has all you need for a stay in london, that is city to spend most of the time out. The room has a small kitchen, not all the rooms, you will have to ask...

We stayed at the Hotel for 5 nights. (Prepaid) At arrival we met the most demotivated foreign recepsionist which were probably an undercover emo, trying as hard as possible not to give a damn. The check in was super slow, and she didn't give us any practical information. The room we got was small, but it had a sort of...

I got a special online rate which put me in a smaller than typical room which would have been fine if I were traveling alone but it was cramped for two people. The layout of the furniture didn't help either! Although the bathroom was nice, it was TINY - even by Euro standards!!! I mean one person at a time...

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights before our Topdeck tour started (it was cheaper and in the same street as the one they leave from). As you would expect the room was tight but clean and the bed was nice and comfy. The shower was very small but it had hot water and that's all that mattered!...

We stayed at this hotel for four nights and the staff was very polite and accommodating. Room was kept clean, and although the bathroom was small, it was clean also and the shower was good. The beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the convenience of having a kitchenette. My only complaint and this is why I didn't give a better...

Stayed here about two years ago for my husbands birthday. Hotel had left a bottle of bubbly in the room as well as a happier birthday note as I had emailed to say it was a birthday. Nice surprise! We were able to leave our bags as we arrived very early and room wasn't ready. Five min walk from tube...

I stayed here with two of my best friends at the beginning of June 2012 for 6 nights and it was amazing, it was a 5 minute walk to the tube station and didn't take long at all to make it into central london, The room was a very good size and was very clean, beds were very comfortable however...

My husband and I stayed 5 nights here after a month touring around the UK in preparation for our return to the USA. I was happy to find a hotel in Zone 1 within walking distance to 3 Underground stations (Bayswater was closest-about a 5 minute walk through a Russian neighborhood, then Queensway, then Paddington) for a very reasonable price....

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
