Reception staff were all very friendly and helpful. we only had to ask for more supplies of tea ,coffee ,milk etc and we were given it . Yes there are Builders working in the hotel but the noise/inconvenience is minimal and certainly did not detract from the enjoyment of our London break of 5 nights. The room was very clean...

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Far better value and quality than the Easyhotel nearby which was appalling. I recommend this Travelodge. The staff at reception was helpful and polite. The restaurant on site is handy and good value too.

The most obliging and cheerful staff I've seen in a Travelodge for a long time which created a great atmosphere for my stay. Very clean and comfortable room albeit a tad noisy re deliveries, traffic etc - but hey ho - this is London. Great Breakfast choice. Close to eateries and places to buy sarnies if required. And there is...

Visited on business training event and stayed here for one night, from check in to check out and even at breakfast all staff were friendly and welcoming always asking me if everything was okay, breakfast offering was very good, very tasty and best of all it was piping hot! Very basic rooms as expected but very clean and comfortable, couldn't...

Good enough for a couple of days traveling on business. Walking distance to City offices. Good breakfast choices. Silent and warm. If you have long hair better carry your own hair dryer as it is not included in the room and you have to ask for one in the reception.

The mattress's on the pull out beds I don't think have been changed for about 10+ years, they were rock hard and I could feel every spring in the mattress. Furthermore, the size of the beds were inadequate and not meant for adults, I rolled over in bed and fell out, absolutely tiny! The fitted sheet on the pull out...

Thank you so much for reviewing your stay with us. We’re sorry to hear that you found our pull out beds to be uncomfortable. After extensive customer trials and research, these beds were selected as being the best fit for our family rooms and once again we would like to apologise this was not the case on this occasion. do not expect any help from local staff or local management. They will just blame central bookings and wash their hands clean. Do not expect any sympathy from them or even a courtesy breakfast for their mess up.they simply do not care.

Despite yet more upgrade work being carried out (on my floor) it was being done in a sensitive manner so as not to disturb guests. It really has come on in recent years from being a somewhat tired looking hotel to a bright, clean and comfortable budget priced oasis close to the City of London where once a year, I...

Hotel was clean and tidy, as much as you need for an overnight stay, nothing too special but everything that you need. Room was quite uncomfortably warm over night and being central it was quite noisy but it was to be expected. Would recommend. Breakfast is pretty good too. Again great value for money!

Staying in Shoreditch

Neighbourhood Profile
Shoreditch
The western front of the edgy East End, Shoreditch is a perennially trendy haven for anything “street” – be it art, food, or fashion. With its handful of well connected transportation links dotting its perimeter, along with an ever increasing variety of shops, hotels, bars, and restaurants, it's easy to explore this trend-conscious and youth-oriented neighbourhood. There's a lingering post-industrial grit about Shoreditch, but because it shares a border with “The City” financial district, the influence from its upscale neighbour can result in fascinating outcomes.
