Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I made a booking via booking.com for a one night stay. However after realising i booked a single person room I decided to cancel it. Not realising I was supposed to cancel on the 7th I tried to cancel first thing on the 8th at 8am in the morning. They refuse to cancel my booking and are trying to charge full costs and threatening legal actions. My booking is made for the 12th of June I tried to cancel on the 8th I’m pretty sure that is a reasonable request to waive the cancellation fee as I’ve gave plenty enough notice. It has completely put me of wanting to even stay in the hotel. Absolutely appalling customer service and after reading the reviews for this place I really do not want to stay!!!!

Liked · The cleanliness of the room was excellent, as was the ensuite. We loved the kitchen unit, which could be hid behind doors when not in use. The bed was comfortable too. Disliked · The hotel has no lift, so I had to carry our luggage up several flights of fairly narrow stairs, to the top floor. Heat rises and being on the top floor, the room got hot, especially in the morning. The air con unit, seemed to be a bit redundant.

A well located, comfortable and spacious apartment with friendly staff. The room was clean with a comfortable bed and was only a 4 minute walk to Earls Court station. For the price paid, this place beats all of its competition and I won’t hesitate in recommending it.

Good communication and service, the apartment was clean and spacious. Very convenient location. Only downside was the noise of the underground, being a basement apartment, but that is to be expected. Would stay here again.

The hotel was clean, and had everything we needed. Great location, but a bit off the main street so very quiet. Friendly staff, and agreed to store luggage on our last day. Highly recommended. Short walking distance from Earl’s Court tube, with a few restaurants nearby. Close to a large Sainsbury’s supermarket, and about 15 mins walk to museums.

Enjoyed our 1 night stay here. You can’t go here expecting 5* facilities and service as you are building yourself up for a fall. We went open minded and were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in room Room 4, very clean, 3 minute walk to earls court tube station, fridge , hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and a decent shower, what more do you need? Key card needed for access to front door too which was excellent. We would definitely return. Thumbs up 👍🏻

We stayed in London for 4 nights and enjoyed our time at Knaresborough Apartments - it was a short walk from the Earl’s Court station, quite easy to find and in a nice area. We were greeted by a friendly attendant upon arrival and were able to leave our bags while we toured around the city for the day as we arrived prior to check in. The room was clean though admittedly smaller than we were expecting (bed with surround space to put your bags, a desk and kitchenette that were compact against the walls and a bathroom) but had everything we needed including wifi and cleaning services were offered every other day if you wanted. Many places to eat / visit are nearby and the closest subway station is on two major lines which makes travelling around the core a breeze! Highly recommend these apartments for convenience!

We stayed in a basement apartment. Dont know where some of the other reviews were staying, because they could not be more wrong. Road opposit Cromwell Hospital. Lovely welcome and no problem collecting the keys from nbr 4. elecctric key fob. We gave a time we would be there about. Basic but clean, good beds and pillows. crisp white sheets. White soft towels with selection of free shower, shampoo and conditioner. Lots of hot water always. Plenty of toilet rolls . Tv worked and wifi. Good kitchen. Looked like new floors and curtains. Happy to recommend this apartment ! GREAT LOCATION .

Before I booked the hotel I called to inform I’m accompanied by a seeing eye dog. All ok! 2 days later I got a phone call from the hotel saying I couldn’t come due to being disabled... I explained I am blind and don’t need any special treatment. After a while that was also ok. When I arrived a man opened the door and denied me and my dog access, stating”no pets allowed”. I had payed, all was in order. I thought.. After a while I passed the employee, explaining yet again. Very stressful. It ended with me finally getting a room but the employee said there wasn’t space for my guide dog. Help!!! What to say? Definitely not guide dog friendly and saying no to a working dog is against UK law. I had a maintenance person fixing the shower when I was out. It wasn’t attached to the wall. When I got in after some hours my door was open?!? And staff man didn’t even respond to that. Rest of staff was helpful. Not a good experience having to fight for my right...

I didn’t know what to expect but was really pleasantly surprised. A clean although basic room which had a new looking bathroom and kitchenette. I’d score this higher if I hadn’t been placed in the front room by reception so had been woken by a long conversation at 7am between the staff. Overall good though.
