We stayed for 5 nights in early October in a one bedroom apartment. The hotel is well located near the Pimlico tube and the Thames and has some good features - restaurant, shop, laundry and garden. However, it is old with no air con or double glazing. Could be hot in summer. The fixtures are quite worn and our bathroom...

Had a great weekend staying at Dolphin House. Did not use any of the facilities but the quality of the apartment and the location cannot be faulted. It was nice to have a view of the gardens. Dolphin House is in a quiet area of Pimlico but within easy walk of restaurants and pubs.

Dolphin House is serviced apartments. I stayed here for one night with a friend on Saturday 25th of October. We were going to Brixton Academy and Dolphin House was only a couple of stops away on the tube. We were very impressed with our apartment, very spacious and had everything we needed. Everything was spotlessly clean. If you are staying...

I found Dolphin house when looking for budget accommodation for a recent trip to London on leisure. I just so wished I'd found out about them prior to the many previous business and leisure trips I've made before. I really like the quality, the price is the cherry on the cake. Reasonable distance to Pimlico tube station and then from...

We stayed in apartment #611 in Dolphin House for one night. Chose an apartment as we knew we'd be staying in and eating in and wanted the leisure facilities. Aside from the very slow and convoluted check-in procedure, our stay was excellent. The superking size bedroom, massive bathroom and nice lounge were all spacious and spotless, with nice extras such...

Sadly that is an excuse! It is a good price. Good location in pimlico near Westminster. Pretty good facility. Small rooms....but see comment re price. Rooms are worn. Beds are good. Bathrooms sufficient. But... No aircon..ridiculously hot rooms. Restricted window opening. Not enough power sockets....can't possibly want fan (no aircon, remember), light, TV and...want to charge a phone? What century...

I stayed at the Dolphin House for a week while on business. From the moment I checked in to the moment I checked out, I was greeted with friendly staff who always had a smile on their faces. My room (#401) was quite large and had everything I needed to make me feel right at home. The separate sitting room...

Thought at first they were expensive ,not really when you compare quality to what else is around in West End .Quality of rooms and service standards was great.Had quick lunch before rushing out to a show.Service was slowish but that was due to food being freshly cooked ,so excellent when it came. Spa enjoyed by my two sons and the...

Stayed at Dolphin Serviced Apartments end of September for 4 days. Arrived early after a 23 hour flight and didn't expect to get an early check-in, but was pleasantly surprised when they said they would get our room cleaned immediately so we could rest. Staff were so helpful, location couldn't have been better, Pimlico Station just round the corner. The...

I am currently staying in one of the apartments because of an internahip in London until mid-december, and hitherto I can't figure out any way to find the overall experience worth what I spent. Good things first: the rooms are clean, and even though they are really (REALLY) small, one person can actually fit properly, although always a bit cramped....

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
