If I could I would give a 0 star review for this place. Do NOT be tempted by the cheap price and think 'it's only for one night!' This place seriously needs to be investigated and closed down, it felt very very unsafe - many of the guests looked to be living there; they looked homeless, dirty, suspicious and looked...

Was the worst hostel that I been in my life. The staff are rude and some of them speak a terrible english that is weird because you're in England? The rooms are disgusting, smell bad and seems that they don't wash the bed sheet. Also the shower is inside of the room so the people that are in a upper...

The hostel is accomodation for local workers not backpackers. Its in dodgy area, many old eastern europeans standing outside drinking, the staff isnt providing hospitality service , they don't know how to greet people, they are mean and rude, threatening to kick you out, if you want to extend the stay you have to pay 15 per day , they...

The rooms themselves are basic but fine for the price. The bathroom was cleanish. However... If you want somewhere secure, do not stay here. A previous tenant let himself into our room having 'lost' his key and not given it back on checkout. Nothing quite like having to fetch security to turf a random guy out of your bed for...

Our first impressions was that it smelt of a rancid dog smell. Then it soon came to my attention that there was dirty stain marks on the curtains and on the bedding! I then soon came to realise the shower had an awful revolting smell to it! The toilets were absolutely awful! Surprised we didn't catch anything! EW!!! DISGUSTING!!! as...

You really get what you pay for. This hostel is very cheap, and London is a very expensive city. It's ok, if you have ever experienced sleeping in a tent not only for a night, but if you prefere to feel confortable do not choose this one, because the quality is almost the same.

Don't book here! I know it's cheap but do not be tempted. We stayed in a twin room upstairs and it's a good job we were absolutely exhausted because there is no way we would have slept otherwise. It didn't feel safe with awful looking people hanging around reception. Constant banging of the door next to our room. Constant walking...

Very close to station. Near to one or two nice pubs. But generally you're out in the suburbs away from central, with not a lot around you. So cheap and you're right by the station. Some great pubs in the area. Me and my girlfriend had a double room. I checked in early and left our bags which were locked away...

You really do get what you pay for when it comes to Hostels. This is a perfectly adequate hostel. It's fairly noisy as it's on a main road but for an overnight stay in central London this is fairly good value for money. Again, you get what you pay for!

I've spend a night at the 639 hostel with my friend and it was definitely better than expected. The staff was friendly and our dorm room (4 female) was okay and the shower seemed clean. The downside was, that the bathroom with the toilets didn't seem really inviting and it was incredibly loud. With earplugs you can easily spend a...
