This hotel is consistent with the Premier Inn offering in the UK. A good hotel for the price, with friendly staff, a comfortable room and bed, refreshing shower, and good breakfast. Short walk from Tower Hill and Fenchurch Street stations and close to Tower Bridge, The Tower of London, St Catherine's Dock and other London attractions.

We stayed just one night at this hotel for a shopping trip. It was approximately 8-10 minutes walk from Tower Hill underground station but very easy to find. The family room was huge and all the beds were very comfortable. Premier Inn's sleep guarantee lived up to its name - it was quiet all night! The breakfast was large -...

Ticks the box for a budget stay in a good city location. The check in staff make every effort to help. My phone charger was not working and they offered to charge my phone for me. As I arrived quite late I grabbed a quick bite in the restaurant, which was ok, but the staff again provided excellent service. The...

The hotel is close to the Tower of London. The quadruple room was very spacious, and it was very pleasant for a family with kids to stay in. Beds including extra beds were comfortable. Breakfast was nice.

Absolutely fabulous hotel. The staff were super helpful, we got extra pillows and tea and coffee, quickly and with a smile. The beds were awesomely comfy and the room lovely and warm. Being right next to the DLR we thought it might be noisy but even with the trains passing 30ft away you couldn't hear a thing. The en suite...

Dont bother ordering quorn sausages because you'll just refused saying they dont provide them. Poor service and it turned me off returning for breakfast the rest of our stay. Plus i had a curry on the second night, went down to the resturant to order it to take it back to my room, told to come back as they were...

Hi Sara, Thank you for taking the time to review our London City (Tower Hill) Hotel. I am very sorry to hear you did not fully enjoy your stay with us due to the poor experience you had in our Thyme restaurant. We do try to ensure all items on our menu are available but sadly we can sometimes run...

If you're looking for a clean, comfortable hotel in a great location at a reasonable price, you won't go wrong here. It's basic, but has everything you need and is clean, comfortable and well located near tube and train stations as well as the Tower of London which is a must see.

I stayed at the hotel from 27-29 Jan 2017. I stayed with my husband and three year old for a leisure break. It was in a great location for us and staff were 1st class. Unfortunately, our room had bed bugs! My husband and I were both bitten. Thankfully, my son was fine as slept in the smaller bed. In...

Hi there, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm terribly sorry to hear about the experience you had during your visit to the Tower Hill hotel in January. This certainly isn't what we'd expect for our guests and I'd like to ensure that this is looked into and the necessary action put in place if and...

Stayed for two nights in December. Usual expectations and standard for a Premier Inn and this one didn't disappoint. Excellent location and really easy to find. The hotel is only 5 minutes from the tube station, Tower Bridge, St. Katharine Docks and a great Weatherspoons for breakfast or drinks. The staff are really helpful and friendly, very attentive too. The...

Overall I have good regular stays here. The staff are very good & I try to book in advance to secure a better rate. I have eaten in the restaurant for both dinner & breakfast & neither was great so I prefer to dine at the local Thai Square in the Minories or one of the Pizza Express or Zizzi...

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
