Order the breakfast, it's great! The room is not that big, but enough. Clean, good shower. Take your own stuff with you for the bathroom. There is a hairdryer available. Hotel is in the neighbourhood of the tube "Tower Hill"

I stayed here for a course with QA at the building at St Katherines Docks, it was my second visit for the same reason. On arrival, i was quickly sorted and found my room to be a good size and nice and tidy. Coming from Northampton to here was not too complicated and i find this to be a good... More

Stayed here on a business trip and was checked in by a friendly member of staff. Had a top floor room on the quiet side, and thought the corridor decor was dated. Upon entering the room, all seemed clean and tidy, however the room was very cold. I set the temperature to 21 degrees C, but it did very little.... More

The rooms and hallways are in need of some refurbishment, let's not forget this is Travelodge's supposedly upmarket cousin however, the Travelodge down the street (close to the Tower Gateway DLR station) was an overall better experience and decidedly cheaper as well. Specifically, our room suffered thin wall syndrome where a normal conversation in the next room could be heard... More

Hotel chosen for its convient location and easy access to public transport, just a short walk to the Tower of London, tube and bus links. Short bus ride takes you into Trafalgar Square, Covent Garden and threatre land. Staff helpful and friendly, breakfast was good and varied

2 night weekend stay Aunt, niece & her partner & we were all very happy. Very large room. Usual comfy beds. Very quiet. I was on the front & some light pollution disturbed my sleep a little (Room 103). Excellent shower with good pressure & endless hot water. Very clean. Lovely friendly reception staff. A little further out of centre... More

We stayed in great location where tube, bus and DLR are all within minutes. Surprisingly quiet hotel alongside the railway with carpet in rooms and corridors so nw noisy footsteps or wheeled suitcases disturbing our sleep. Great shower, lovely beds, good food. We will be back.

Excellent Premier Inn, particularly good value for money. The twin rooms were a bonus for my friend and me. The only downside was the lack of heating in the bathroom, so the towels had no way of drying properly.

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
