I was down in London for 1 night and as it was last minute most hotels were about 500.00 however this was showing as 100.00. Its true what they say, you get what you pay for! The corridors were small, so much so I had to walk sideways down them, the room was tiny, my hallway at home is bigger!...

We booked this hotel for one night, as it was within walking distance of Euston Station, (St. Pancras and Kings Cross are an easy walk also). The reception people were friendly and helpful, allowing us to store our luggage until our room was ready. We were upgraded to a larger room, which was still very small. The room was clean,...

Lovely little room in the heart of London. This hotel was in the perfect location a 5 min walk to St. Pancras station which we were using early the next morning to go to Paris. But also great for transport around London. The room (a large single) was small but was very clean and tidy and used its space well....

The reason we chose the wardonia hotel was because it was cheap for 3 people to stay in a room overnight and we had our own private bathroom. The room was comfortable and clean and the bathroom was clean and modern with a good shower. My one recommendation would be to ask for a higher floor room or ground floor,...

I spent the night at the Wardonia Hotel in London near kings cross, this hotel is cheap for London but also more expensive then a tent or a cardboard box which would have been nicer. The bed was uncomfortable and I'm pretty sure I've had flee's or bed bugs crawling all over me and biting me all night as my...

Stayed for 2 nights this weekend past and after the 1st night was dreading the 2nd. When we arrived we went to reception and was not greeted by a friendly and pleasant staff member but instead was greeted by a lady on the desk where there was barely any exchange took place Barr being handed a piece of paper to...

The main benefit to Wardonia is that it is located close to Kings Cross and the price is reasonable for that area. The room was quite standard and had what was required, it was clean but there was a slight musty smell in the room, but that faded and didn't really present any issues. I would recommend to others as...

I stayed alone and had a first floor double room which was pretty tiny in size. The tiny theme also stretched to the 'double' bed and the bath towels. I'm glad I wasn't sharing with anyone as we'd have probably had to take turns as to who stood up and who was on the bed. The lights in my room...

Stayed here for a weekend trip to London, and having stayed in the good, the bad and the ugly in many cities - irrespective of the price - I can happily report that this clean, snug and utterly unpretentious hotel is a perfect base. Cheap, clean, convenient and friendly. It was refreshing to walk past a famous brand of "discount...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
