Had a two day trip to london with my hubby and it was a lovely little place to crash. The room was a good price to be so close to the middle of London. The staff were also really friendly! Only down side was the shower, that was a bit temperamental and sort of spat at you, and the walls...

This place is fine for one or two nights, if you need a quick stopover. It is located ten minutes walk from Victoria train station and five minute walk from the coach station. The breakfast was basic but ok: toast, cheese, cereal and tea. The room (twin beds) was really small with a small rail to hang clothes and a...

Nice room with shared bathroom facilities but private sink. In walking distance to Victoria station and Buckingham Palace/St James'Park. Breakfast provided was simple but good and staff was very friendly. General cleanliness was reasonable, with room tidied every day and towel laundry facilities every few days. Would stay here again.

Very quaint and tiny. If you can't find a room for the evening this will be your saving grace! It's a one in done for us. The person running the place was very nice and the tea and biscuits was a nice touch.

This was booked for a group of 6 visiting London for the Scotland England game. The accommodation was easy to find comfortable and ideally located for pubs restaurants and transport. It might not be the most luxurious accommodation but served us perfectly. Breakfast was cereal with tea and toast which was fine to start off the day. The staff were...

Perfect budget hotel/B&B in the Westminster area. 5 minutes was to Victoria Station and so close to many area sights. Traveling solo and felt quite comfortable walking from each daily adventure. Market and restaurants close by for any meal or purchase. Room and bath were clean and neat with a comfortable bed. Breakfast every morning downstairs, limited selection, but enough...

Three of us (friends) stayed in the family room. Very grotty- polystyrene ceiling tiles with names carved in. Even found someone else's socks under the bed! Staff were friendly. Strange little outside space-enough to stand up in . Sheets were clean.

Cheap( for London) and cheerful. Clean bedding and towels nice and tidy room. And very well placed for the Westminster sights. Had the smallest bathroom I have ever seen, built like an airplane toilet. Very clever.

London is like my second home. This time I choose Surtees Hotel. Found this hotel is exceptionally bigger then any B&B I been to. Receptionist was nice and helpful. Breakfast and reception area is same in the basement. Small dinning area for breakfast.Come early bc it gets overcrowded. Not too many choices for breakfast.Restroom is way too tiny, well its...

Good if you have to go to the airports. Very close to coach and train station (5 mins walking). The guy at the reception very helpful and nice (gave us some bites to take away as our flight was at early morning). On the other hand our room was pretty small and there was no shampoo or soap, towels under...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
