Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Without a doubt the worst nights sleep I've ever had! It's very clean and tidy and staff are nice to your face so I thought it would be good...I was wrong. They reckon it's soundproofed, the noise was unreal, people screaming and shouting in the hallways all night, squeaking stairs with people thundering up and down, woken up every half an hour! Then someone was hammering away on the front door, staff didn't stop any of this. No noise policy?! I was absolutely furious. We were also given a room right next to building works, as in RIGHT outside the window on the ground floor, we could have shaken hands through the window, we had to close the blind as the builders kept staring in! We weren't warned they were right outside, and we got their cigarette smoke through the window all

It was the best "staff" experience me and my friends ever had! We got scammed with our first accommodation so we went to this awesome house and the lady at the front desk helped us with everything! The rooms were amazing and beds really comfortable! Definitely recommend staying here!

The location is good, but the McDonald's next store, was a problem for us. Our room faced the McDonald's It was nice to eat there, but it was so warm that day we had to have the window open, did not get much sleep seeing the McDonald's was 24 hours... (Not hotel's fault). Staff was friendly and limited parking is available for extra charge which is very tight and awkward. Bed was comfortable. Maybe invest in wall air conditioners units for the McDonald's side for the summer .

We stayed there for 5 nights, and it was pleasant for the most part. The location is good, McDonald's nearby, a bus stop, a tiny supermarket across the street, and Sainsbury ~10min walk away. The thing that could've been better is walls that are like paper, and if You have a room with a street view - prepare for more noise. Besides that, we liked everything: friendly staff, already mentioned good locations (~30min from Victoria Coach Station, ~1h from BigBen).

We had a one night stay here after a music concert. The staff on arrival were great. The rooms was very modern, clean and tidy. Beds were extremely comfortable and the bathroom was great. Location is fantastic with tube stations not far away. Highly recommend this guest house.

Made a booking through booking.com for two workers. The hotel cancelled the booking leaving two lads with nowhere to stay in London as the prices have gone through the roof and they offered no alternative or help. This was at 9 o’clock when they arrived at the hotel. Terrible service.

The hotel was chosen for location, near to the start of the London to Brighton cycle ride, which we were preparing for. The room had three single beds, tea and coffee making, a small bathroom, and an area for bike storage. The staff were friendly, and they recommended an Ethiopian restaurant nearby which was super.

£177 for 3 nights wooden bed frame with mattress on, no toilet, door to shower area in room would not suit anyone who is of more than average size as it is a very tight area to get in to. unless you are on a very tight budget avoid a single room

Given wrong room was trying to catch up on sleep woken up by loud knock on the door & was forced to switch rooms. Basic single room with no toilet & cramped shower area. Had previously tried to cancel but they wanted to charge full price. Ruined my stay service is a joke

It can’t be me as I’ve stayed in lots of guest houses around London (and for a cheaper price!) but I had the worst night sleep ever! Small room which I don’t mind however didn’t seem to have double glazing or any sound proofing as could hear literally everything from either sides of the next room! Plus could hear everything outside, cars, a drunk women screaming at the top of her lungs at 3 in the morning! So found it difficult to sleep not the hotels fault but could upgrade the sound proofing a bit and windows haha! Giving it 4 stars as the staff are brilliant!!
