This is a five star hotel that comfortably delivers a five star experience in every aspect. The bars restaurant and spa are all excellent and coupled with a first rate service this is a hotel that is great value. The bedrooms are well appointed with modern bathrooms and a top quality shower. The bed was one of the most comfortable...

We stayed at the Grange St Paul's on the recommendation of friends as our daughter, whose birthday we were celebrating wanted to take in some London sights. The hotel is very central being right near St Paul's Cathedral and Paternoster square. We dropped our luggage with the concierge and using his travel advice set about on our sights tour. Later...

We stayed 4 5 nights for our honeymoon and what a treat it was. Superb modern hotel with friendly professional staff, exquisite rooms, excellent facilities, good free wifi etc not to mention the stunning location next to st pauls. We got a complimentary room upgrade as it was our honey moon which was a lovely touch the romance package we...

We booked this through last minute.com as a top secret hotel and upon arriving I was a little worried that it looked very corporate. However straight away the staff were warm, professional and helpful. I requested a smoking room (dying out in London hotels) and was pleasantly surprised when along with a smoker friendly room, I was given a complimentary...

I stayed in October this year, with my wife and some friends. We were fortunate to be upgraded on arrival, to a suite. The hotel is in a great location, my only negative was the staff on the breakfast shift could have been more attentive!

This hotel is fantastic. Worth every penny. The staff are friendly, the food is great, the hotel and amenities are impeccable and the rooms are spacious and luxurious. Its location is very central but manages to be quiet. I would recommend to anyone traveling to London

My family and I stayed for four nights while I was on a business trip. While the hotel is modern and close to St. Pauls and other sights, it is a busy hotel. The elevators took a while to get to the ground floor, esp. in the morning. Our rooms were not ready when we arrived and it took about...

having stayed this Hotel many times since it has opened it is disappointing to see the standards plummet over the last couple of years. Clearly it is now a Hotel that wants to only attract the large corporate customer base. As a single or couple travelling I would strongly avoid this Hotel. Service is terrible and the rooms are tired...

Second time here. Booked as a 'secret hotel' via lastminute.com. Very good rate at £109. Sunday night is really a good night to stay in town! especially around this area. It's quiet but central. Very good room for the money, as good as some real luxury ones. Very good and clean, great bed and amenities. Wouldn't have minded some bottled...

I stayed three nights while on business trip. The staff was very pleasant and helpful when I needed something or had a question; and greeted me very nicely at the door, both coming and going. Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
