On a business trip to London, I spent one night at the Grange St. Paul’s hotel. The hotel is well located, almost directly next to the St. Paul’s Cathedral. It is not far from two different tube stations (Mansion House station on the District/ Circle line and St. Paul’s station on the Central line). On arrival I was greeted by...

A warm welcome awaits just steps from St Paul's. Although primarily business oriented we go for pleasure and feel at home. Amenities include a huge airy atrium bar, large swimming pool, spa treatments and an express blow-dry & manicure facility. Also a sports bar for the boys and Benihana Japanese restaurant. Rooms are modern and comfortable. Robes and slippers are...

My daughter and visited London and Paris this past January. The Grange is a lovely hotel- creative decor, accommodating staff, excellent location. From the Grange the Thames River, London Eye and many other sights are an easy walk.

Clean and well appointed, I get annoyed about anyplace that doesn't do auto check out and you have to queue but this is a great hotel. Amazingly quite, great facilities and very close to lots of different food choices.

The only reason I didn't give this hotel 5 stars was because the bed was really hard and I didn't get a great night's sleep. I mentioned this when I checked out but the receptionist wasn't interested, which was irritating. However, the hotel is in a great location, very easy to get to. It is very impressive as you walk...

I thought I would treat myself and my daughter to a stay at Grange, St Paul's for my belated birthday. You can easily tell when you step inside the hotel that it is a five star hotel, but that is where the luxury stops. My young daughter wanted to go swimming but the pool was so cold for her she...

Nice hotel, clean rooms, great location. The staff is extremely unfriendly (almost all of them). The staff show no interest in helping the client (except at the entrance of the hotel). The service at Novello (breakfast) and at the reception (check in, check-out) is way below what I consider a good experience. Breakfast starting at 7am is very inconvenient for...

You are always met with a smile and a welcome whoever you speak to. Our room was in the Annex to the Hotel which meant it was away from the main lobby and you did not have to walk through the main visiting area in your dressing gown if you were going to the Health Spa. Our room was excellant,...

have stayed at the Grange St Paul's between 4 and 10 times per year since 2012. Every time I arrive, it is as if I have never been there before- I have to complete all my information, remind the staff of my preferences (and very often these are in any event ignored). I have also learned to always request the...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
