The room was simple but very clean and very good for a 3 days stay. The location is perfect, being next to Marylebone Station and Baker Street. A 10-15 minutes walk to Abbey Road Studios. Bars, Grills and supermarkets next to it. Very friendly staff. Perfect for sightseeing days.

Convenient location and easy to find near station, tube and buses. Hotel very comfortable and everything good over 5 night stay. Staff really helpful and friendly which made stay 5 star. Can get breakfast and dinner across the road and snacks in hotel or M&S at Marylebone station 30 yards away.

The location of this hotel is perfect, being next to Marylebone Station and off the main road, so above the ground floor, the rooms are quiet. The rooms are a standard Travelodge quality with very comfy bed and excellent wall mounted TV. Coffee and Tea Making facilities are provided with a cordless kettle. We requested a Hair Dryer as the...

We tend to stay at this hotel whenever we want a night's stay in London- due to its proximity to the station and also that they keep our bags before/after free of charge. The staff are very friendly and helpful here, the rooms big clean spacious, the price is bearable but it Is the centre of London. This hotel does...

You know what you are going to get with a Travelodge - clean and comfortable, no frills but great value for money and this was no exception. Very friendly and welcoming manager - we had a minor issue with one of the rooms and he couldn't have done more to sort it out. Quiet too given that it was central...

I stayed for 1 night for work. The room had no hairdryer (you had to borrow one from reception), no bathroom extras such as a shower cap or shampoo, and "breakfast" was a box picked up the evening before that contained unrefrigerated orange juice and a yogurt, a banana and a muffin. The room was tired, dated and could have...

This hotel was a very surprise. Not expensive (compare to the average of London), with good connections (Marleybone station, im front of the hotel, has a tube line and several trains for Oxford and Birmingham), clean and comfortable. The bed was ok, as the bathroom. First option in London: it was only a pity that the wifi connection is for...

Able to get off train at Marylebone and walk across road to the hotel and leave luggage at desk. very helpful staff. Not a great problem as a leisure break but internet access very sporadic and slow plus there is a £3 charge per day. For central London was very good value

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
