Stayed here recently for a work trip, booked on a budget. The location is great, near the major train stations but not so near that it is noisy/busy, its on a quiet square just off the main road. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Our room was fairly small but clean, quiet and perfectly suitable for our needs. Initially...

I enjoyed my stay here. The room was small, but comfortable. Great location off of King's Cross station. The company that manages this hotel, manages a few in that area, so the front desk was located a few doors down. The guy working was great, stored my luggage before check in and also after check out. The stairs are tight...

We stayed here for 2 nights on a recent trip to London. Location wise it's great. In a quiet area, close to Kings Cross for the underground and shops and restaurants nearby. We were allocated a room on the 3rd floor, no lift but that was fine - we are perfectly capable of walking up stairs. The room was absolutely...

Booked as a group for 3 rooms. When we arrived only one was available. The guy at reception couldn't care less and tried to move some guests to another hotel at an extra cost. Turned out there were no rooms there either. The room we ALL ended up staying in (some of us on the floor) was the size of...

Terrible hotel, looks luxurious when you arrive in the reception area it states free parking but this is only a Sunday you have to try find parking for the rest of the time. We took a look at the tiny room we was staying in and instantly knew we had to find an alternative hotel which we did at a...

We were awoken at 2 am, by leaking water from the ceiling (it rained heavily that night). After informing the sole young receptionist, the only room they could offer us was an uncleaned, untidy, grubby room which had recently been vacated. At 2 am, we didn't have much choice, so we accepted the room. However they did NOT clean the...

We found the toilet was in a separate room to the shower... this wasn't a problem, although it was a tad small as our legs stuck out and we couldn't shut the door! It was quite entertaining. For a short stay we would recommend this hotel. It's a good price for London and we have stayed in worse. It's worth...

If you just need somewhere easy to sleep, that is on the night tube lines, it is perfect as it is a two min walk from Kings Cross and the Victoria line and Northern line both run throughout the night on the weekends making it very easy to get back. For a hotel of luxury it was not. The room...

Parking was not free as promised! Staff member was unhelpful at resolving this issue. We booked this hotel purely because we understood we would have free parking throughout our weekend stay. However on arrival we were told we would need to get up early and move the car from the road to a NCP (which they would not pay for)...

We stayed here for 1 night, it was on offer online & it was good enough for what we needed. If you're staying for more than one night then I would recommend paying for a bigger room, our double was very small & the bathroom was extremely small (shower was basically over the toilet). The room itself was very clean,...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.
