When we arrived, we were checked into the wrong room - a room without a bathroom, which we had paid extra for. We had to point this out, as they didn't realize this themselves. When we got into our new room (with a bathroom), it was stiflingly hot, as if the heating had been on full for a week, and...

It was perfect for one night stay if you are desperate. Good things are nice staff, friendly and bus stop right in front of the hotel. I made a terrible mistake in not checking the size of the rooms. I was shocked to see the size of the room was that of a kitchen but was charged 120 pounds a...

Alright, where do I start. We came here because of a mishap from other hotel and it was 2:00 in the morning. They transferred us to Hour Glass Hotel which they said was a 2 star hotel and to be honest, I was quite disappointed but we were desperate. On our way to the hotel, our taxi driver has expressed...

I chose this hotel because of 3 reasons, it's location, it's facilities and it's price! All of them were perfect! I was greeted with a friendly welcome by the bar staff who showed me to my room 😁 the room I was given was the top floor, the room was spacious, I had my own sky light and I had...

Very local, above a pub (but it closes around 10pm so no noise issue). The staff is great, it is nice (old english style), and clean. Lots of take away options near by. You do have to catch a bus from Elephant and castle but it is only a 10mim ride, and well worth it. Would definitely recommand.

We ended up in London and found this gem. Offers a free washer/dryer and breakfast nook. I would avoid purchasing their breakfast as there was not much to it other than jams, velveeta cheese slices and butter. Everytime we visit Europe our credit card info gets stolen which is becoming very annoying. The staff at this hotel are very friendly....

Stayed for a 1 night layover. The location is very local, above a pub which in my opinion is great. Its about a 15-20 minute walk to Tower Bridge. If you enjoy walking and seeing local neighborhoods then it will score points with you. Nearest metro is Elephant & Castle which is about 10-15 minute walk. You can catch a...

It advertises itself as a pub and B&B but having visited the pub I would say it's not the most plush place to visit and it is in the middle of the Aylesbury Estate but have busses pass regularly which is convenient and the decor is more old school pub than a smart establishment. Seems to attract more the poor...
